as a deobi, i'm really thankful for bobby guiding sunwoo. making both of his juniors comfortable with him, performing with the mindset of just having fun at stage without thinking of winning since they'll be tense. i'm also thankful he guided both of em as a mentor and really pulled out and showed sunwoo and hwiyoung's potential (all of them are great rappers and have a good chemistry btw)
Im a hard core khiphop stan and I listen to kpop groups with a strong rap line. I liked Sunwoo alot even before I started liking The Boyz as a group because of his verse for the song Giddy up. And I've been waiting to hear him really go hard on a track because I sensed the potential that he wasn't able to show. And I'm happy Bobby got to bring that out from him and Hwiyoung ofcours. Sucks they didn't win.

tbh ikon came on to put on great stages for ikonics and to hang out with other groups. they didn't come with the expectations of winning, and they knew from the start that mnet would benefit more from ikon than ikon would benefit from being on kingdom. and even though they knew all of that, they still decided to join the show, so they could show ikonic some cool stages and so they definitely achieved what they came for. i don't think they're upset about the rankings, they're just here to let the stage speak for themselves
You don’t have to bitter about it cause your fave didn’t win, is a competition someone gonna lose and someone gonna win. I do agree that ikon are undervalued but the other stage was lit. Even by Bobby expression you could tell that he knew that mayfly are gonna win

The "3 stars" part of Sunwoo's rap is so heartwarming when you remember that he rapped this part while showing off their shoes (that they bought for each other), each other's fandom names written on top. These three weren't just teammates, they were friends overnight. Friends doing what they love the most and having fun doing it.

They got beat because the other team performed while they just rap. I think thats why they lose and they lose by a big margin. They failed to understand that this is a rap STAGE battle. Not just a rap battle. They acted like this is SMTM.

Question the judging all you want but the methodology of the judgement was explained but they didn't take into consideration the stage. They lose because they didn't take that into consideration. And look at the score? That much difference? When you enter a singing competition, do you sing katy perry or mariah carey? If you want to win then understand the competition.

Now i understand why "the experts" vote the other song to win rather than this. Full DaSH is a decent rap song with strong Korean hip hop vibes. But the other is more like a rap song by Idols. Seeing who the experts are, i don't think they will like or even understand it

As iKONIC I am more thankful of these two Hwiyoung and Sunwoo because I can see they really enjoyed the stage with Bobby and they were both sincere. They really love performing. im not a fan of any group in kingdom. but i watch it since i love survival show. but seriously. this performance should win instead of the other group. im judging from music wise. this is like LEGIT RAP SONG! like the hook and chorus its perfect! the other group wins since its more member and they give their extra work on performance. i dont really like the concept. for me you should judge the music first THEN the performance. thats why lot of group doesnt move forward cause this shitty show only wants attention with powerful performance act. be honest. why do u think certain group on top tier??? because we LISTEN to music almost everyday. not all of us will watch the SAME performance regularly. the main point is what is good to LISTEN not to WATCH. performance is good too but i think if u just depend solely on good performance act without the music factor, that group wouldnt last song.

IN MY OPINION i think they deserved to win, the charisma the flow the lyrics the song itself is incredibly good to be put on second juste beause popularity.
Literally these three are arguably some of the best rappers in the kpop industry. They are able to rap different style, genres, tones, moods, and rhythms.
@@seiwei I really don’t think I am. First of all, I said they were “some” of the best rappers in the “idol” industry. All three have been praised multiple times by giants in the underground, hiphop, industry. Alongside RM, yoongi, and jhope and Mark from NCT, they make up the top rungs of the idol industry

@@seiwei unfortunately, sunwoo and hwiyoung don't have a lot of content out, but you can watch their high school rapper performances. Sunwoo was still a trainee at the time, so he didn't make it too far, but Hwiyoung was debuted and did fairly well. Also, The Boyz songs always include pretty good raps where Sunwoo shines a lot, plus his own rewrite/cover of Rich Brian - 100 degrees is pretty good

@@andrerajendradika8161 i think part of it is they said all they wanted to say individually, doing what they themselves want to do (e.g. I want to autotune, i want to try it out, said one of them). Whereas the other group came to a consensus of what they the group wanted to accomplish, together. It was organic, natural and real. Achieving#1 means nothing to an older fan like me because it's just z generation people getting no sleep and clicking away at their computers for views/hits
