I to remember, but simple economics. Supply vs demand. He charged 20 bucks, and then he got big. Now he is booked up for the next couple of months, and it looks like it could go further. So what does he do? He raises his prices. Demand is still high, so he raises his prices. The other reason his prices are so high. To keep out the people that aren't going to take him or his advice seriously. If a person is going to lay down that much for coaching, chances are extremely high your one going to pay attention, 2 your going to get alot of notes out of it, ontop of having the vod available to rewatch. 3, your motivated to get better so laying that money down only shows how serious you are. I agree there is so much free content out there that people can take advantage of, but also there is soooo much free content out there that it can be overwhelming. League as we all know that have any good amount of time in it, is not a simple game. Trying to learn about freezing when you are struggling to just farm and not get ganked, then trying learn about back timings, Itemization, situation itemization. When are good times to go to neutrals, when you should just give it up and farm. Knowing what your role's job actually is, and how to be the most effective at it, and then knowing when you can push your limits, and when you need to reign it in. Why only kill 3 caster minions in a lane then to move away and join the team? When is the correct time for an adc to join the fight, who is priority, what do you do when the priority target isn't in range? This is just the tip of the iceberg that is League of Legends. And none of this is super simple and takes time and tons of game to get it set into memory. So yeah alot of free info, but alot that can also overwhelm you when your a noobie, that struggles to lane, and build the right items.

Neace has been useful to me when I went back to League during the pandemic after 10 years away from it and got shocked that Tristana isn't blue anymore. I've learned to macro quite quickly thanks to his videos, but I wouldn't pay such an outrageous price even before seeing this.

No not at all tbh. I noticed sometimes Neace tells someone to go aggressive when it's an int play then when they lose the trade or die for it even when they didn't play it that badly he says something like "Don't worry that it went bad I'm just trying to make you more confident" etc. But at the end of the day you don't teach someone to make int plays to gain confidence you teach them smart, calculated aggression. He's not teaching smart aggression he's teaching mindless aggression and just like anywhere in life un-calculated, mindless aggression will get you nowhere but a stand still. The issue with this is he couldn't coach a capable player to his own elo nevermind the latter.
