With Jerod learning about Cagliostro's theme, let's talk Cagliostro the founder of alchemy in Granblue Fantasy. Cagliostro was born a sickly boy a thousand years before the start of the setting, and he lamented every second of it. He had an unshakable will and incredible stubbornness however, so he started to look into the elements of the world to try and figure out how to make a new body for himself so he would no longer be as sickly. And with the help of his little sister, he succeeded, and continued to make leaps and bounds in alchemy, founding the very art himself. The reason for Cagliostro being a girl is for the sole reason of "girls are cute", and that's why she's a girl now. She very often brings out a cutesy persona with people she's unfamiliar with to keep them off guard, but her real self is rude and haughty, super proud of her ability, but will show respect to those who she's comfortable with just being herself. Of note is when she brings out her actual self, she speaks in masculine terms. Something to keep in mind.

if you want another really good switch-up music track, listen to One Determination from the Persona 3 Movies, it starts out as a nice piano song then switches randomly into a regular persona song, then back to a nice piano song, then back again to a normal persona song all culminating up to probably one of my favorite drops in music history.

Holy cow, I wasn't entirely paying attention, it was this nice orchestral thing starting out and then next time I was really listening it was really dark metal??? and then it got happy again 🤣

It reminds me "Last Remote" from Touhou 11, "Porky's Theme" from Earthbound, or "Your Best Nightmare" from Undertale that all have this feeling where you "don't expect this" either in the middle of the music, or just the entire music itself.

I like how the transition is so good, it become from happy anime to metal and yet he didn't react right away. That show that even if the genre were really different, the transition was well made. Love that song. I still am not going to pay for a game that you need to pay hundreds of dollars for having all the characters... but good music.

Fun fact: Granblue Fantasy is composed by Tsutomu Narita, who is a student of Nobuo Uematsu. Narita created a band called Stella Magna just for Granblue Fantasy Narita is basically Nobuo. Hes so goddamn good at making music
