sure its cool but this is the worst update i have seen in a while(they made silentheart bad against mage builds, nerfed voidheart, and made it trash for pve) also they removed it bc it "shut down gameplay" i have 4 words A WORLD WITHOUT SONG
Ok. Im digging this. But small issue. If you die you lose your weapon...... So can they just add like a special slot where you can put your switchable weapons and they cant get lost. And lets just make it kinda costy to remove it so people dont just put legendarys in there to keep forever.
True but if you equip a weapon with enchants it just gets soulbounded, and lets be honest with a pvp oath like this every one of your weapon should be enchanted
@@alepapi9544 Yeah but theres no way im getting the requirements for 3 legendaries id have zero points left for fortitiude or whatever 0 health buuld? Sounds good to you?
Now I want to make a Hallowtide Gladiator sorta thing. Silent heart w/ all three Hallowtide weapons (Drakemaw Gauntlets, Putrid Edentide, and Bloodtide Trident). I think it'd be fun, especially with the new "dagger talent w/ no daggers" talent
visionshaper rework next please? Clones are cool I guess, but with an oath with so many possibilities using the creative liberties you'd get with complete control over illusions, you'd think you'd have more to it than being 90% clone based, with the remaining 10% being a domain expansion.
Yeah I think Visionshaper, aswell as Linkstrider could use some kind of rework. They have cooked with Jetstriker and silentheart so I look forward with what they come up with here.
@@cliyzzeq Their supposed to be Mantra Haters who hates the song, they could've made some of the skill prevent ether charge or extend cooldown of other mantras or something😭😭
also if you have crazy slots and swap weapons with enchants you can have the same cslots weapon with a diff enchant like swapping from chilling divine spear to detonation divine spear
That goes so hard. Silentheard pairs up insanely well with crazy slots now, if not for the weapon variants of the new sh talents, for the extra freedom having the weapon's skill gives you.
Couldn't they just change this up a bit and make it a new oath instead? I kind of liked the old silentheart and it would be nice to have more variety in oaths
The old silentheart was an example of terrible game design, and it was not meant to be ingame. It contradicted Deepwoken’s entire “unique builds” system.
Sh is even MORE viable than ever. It can literally mixup thru new item talent and has several weapons to use. Mani katti was only ever useful when it block breaks
I only kinda disliked the fact we lost mani katti to a slightly improved uppercut. It was like unique as hell, although it was pretty useless since you could just predict it so easily. But fr though, this rework was insanely good. I just think we should get the mantra resistance or damage buff back, if it's so bad maybe make it proc when you switch weapons.
removing mani kati which was lets be honest some cool ass move thats very easy to parry is the same way as minecraft removing creepers from the game mani kati was the face of silent heart
They should make it so you gain a talent that allows you to put 2 or 3 weapons into a slot in which you can bring weapons in and out of without being able to be stolen. This could help with the swapping between weapons, making it easier for people to use this oath without the worry of losing strong weapons.
Punchee I use silent heart because I play on console I can't hot swap or use mantra in combat because I need to get the cursor out and click on the thing rather than just press a button how do I plug in a keyboard and mouse this game is all I play and they seem to want console players extinct
btw, crazy slots has crazy synergy with silenheart as the moves change aswell. Also in pve, it would be cool to change to vampirism divine battle axe or astral whilst ifghint
I haven't run silent heart in a good while but even I have to say this rework is actual dogshit, they removed the ONLY oath that was capable of handling spell and mantra spam and said "now have fun still getting spammed to death by meta mantra builds!" Like seriously, the main reason the oath existed was to DENY mantras so it would force people to actually use their fucking weapons
dude the feature barely mattered it lasted like 3 seconds and if any of the cheese meta builds got hit by it they will just run away and then continue raining down death on you there was no point
How come you didnt mention all the good items getting a new Level Requirement to use for absolutely no reason. That's totally ass. Literally only make the early game slightly harder but much more annoying, since now if you wanted to pass down those items you might just have to bank them until a higher level or risk losing them to a random death. Also dissincentivizes any sort of "roleplay" build where you start with, say, looking like a fighter from a certain faction (eg: Auth helm/plate, Legion plate, Etrean Quirasses, etc.). This really had no reason to be added. The mild Fortitude requirement was enough already on some of the Hats, and the level 10 req already made a bunch of Arms unappealing, on top of them not even being that good in terms of stats.
Why not just make the Diadem like an alloy that works with the Pleeksty's Inferno and not a helmet equipment? No way I'm passing up a 30 hp helmet for my m1s to apply burn. Looks cool on your head though.
Don’t get me wrong, it looks insanely cool, but I’d be nice to have both ;). Why couldn’t they have just made this a new oath? Or even let you choose if you want the post/pre nerf version.
crazy how they gutted the utility use of voidwalker, like bro so now i cant reset to spawn back at the voidheart and sell my stuff at ferryman... This is completely unnecessary. They had the chance to fix voidwalkers and make it more noob friendly but no they instead nerf the pve use of it.
The silent heart rework is definitely interesting. In terms of PvP I see some extreme combat potential with the Weapon switching and Abilitie variants. I’m honestly really happy about this rework. Now it is unfortunate that PvE builds got nerfed and have become damn near unusable, but it is what it is. There are other PvE build alternatives that are still good. Overall I think this rework is really cool, I love the new attacks, weapon switching( the Toji builds are gonna go crazy) and I look forward to seeing what people come up with.
Yo punchee, if you agree, try sharing it with the devs (i dont have suggestion role) Chainwarden should have the silentheart treatment. If you can dye the chains, it should also change the color of the mantras.
I. Think I hate this rework. I get shutting down other people's mantras was unfun. But why shift the oath from ya know. Silencing spellcasters. To just being weapon masters? It's an oath about getting revenge on mantra users and the rework doesn't reflect that anywhere nearly as well. This also seems to be entirely a stat nerf w/no returns on that. Tho that's my opinion I am bias as I have little experience actually using other oaths.
i get what youre saying but it was kinda like, you get a boost of power with the desire of getting revenge on the song, so that's why they kept the dread stacks building up resistance but it should be a weapon master imo because they are supposed to be bounded to not use any mantra's so the only thing they can do is use a weapon and it was already a weapon oath pretty much, so they tied the oath from being a disabler and damage dealer to more of a mantra resistant upgraded weapons master, but people have opinions and i respect it
@@raylight2961 I hate it personally. Doesnt mean I'm right to do so. I'll give it time to try it out given silentheart is my only currently surviving pvp build. Hope my opinion changes but I'm afraid if it doesn't. ... Ig I'll go back to trying to make fists work with bladeharper somehow.
Tho honestly silentheart is better when done as weapon master. After all they have to be good at something other than simply swinging a weapon when not using mantras or any attunement
