There's something wrong with it's radar and it's bugging the hell out of me.. Even the F4 can retain lock and hit sparrows more consistently than the F-14B
@@mikeyplayzwrld I have played this game for 10 years I'm well above the level of skill. I know this game in and out and I'm telling you this thing doesn't perform as good as the F4 radar set unfortunatly
Joob you lied, on your last stream I asked you what was the best way to use the F-4S and you said something along the lines of *Position yourself to take shots at targets, you have AIM-7Fs and AIM-9Ls* well…. It has aim-9Hs, not Ls. 😢
These videos with your friends and other youtubers are pretty fun. You should at least put a little bit of snippets of them in future videos. Keep up the good work!
Glad you had a good time at the festival. You are right about needing to bring that energy to other parts of life. Empathy. That's what we all need more of!
This thing in a dogfight with wings forward and combat flaps out, is absolutely unparalleled it just holds so much energy when also turning super hard literally nothing can maintain your turn rate i think the mig29 and f16 have like one or two opportunities to get a shot in but if they miss its over bc that was their only opportunity also beware combat flaps make the plane pull like 2 extra G's so you will rip if you turn too long with them out
Recently got this thing. It really is a beast, although I still prefer the F 16 and the Mig 29. A tip for anyone who gets it... DON'T take phoenixes. I tried taking one or 2 for maybe 20 games, probably 4 or 5 of them actually hit. And they hit noob F 4S and space climbing F 14s who were doing nothing. BVR is not the meta right now, with most player knowing how to easily counter phoenixes (flying low mostly). Plus, TWS is really bugged. If you must take phoenixes, take one or 2. Make sure to always bring sparrows and 9Ls as well. I'm seeing WAY too many 6 phoenix F 14s thinking the Aim54C will bag more kills or something... they end up with 0 or 1 kill and RTB while the team dies. don't be those people. Another tip, DO NOT get into a dogfight with an f 16 or Mig 29, unless you know you have an energy advantage. Pretty often, even though I had bled them of speed and was going up for the loop they were stalling out in, they could still float enough to get a gun shot or fire a missile... almost every time.
Great comment! Only dogfight you’ll win in the 14b against those two jets are two circles, and generally only have the first intersection to hit shots. After that break off or they’ll get nose on next circle.
@@reinbeers5322no it doesn't, just expert your crew and stay within 380-450 kts. with combat flaps if needed and the f14b will eventually out rate the f16, the issue is just staying in that fight long enough without dying, your opponent running away or not messing up, but the Falcon will eventually just fall out of the sky
@@jaek__ yeah I haven't had issues with mig-29s or 16s in dogfights. The F-14B is just a beast, though jets like the J-7E (rare) and Mirage 2000 can be a bit weird since you rarely play against them and they have strong nose authority so essentially you have to accept that they will get a shot at you sometimes when you get into the initial merge.
I'd like to. Its really a matter of when everyone is on playing (which right now, none of us are really enjoying the game), and a matter of me feeling bad because I feel like I'm using them for content lol.
Do you want a good plane to actually learn how to fly a jet and dogfight? F-5C. Do you want a slow ass sitting duck with very good missiles for the BR that relies on the stupidity of other players? A-10
