High is so cute with her lil tongue sticking out while nursing. You are right arroz these guys are so much more loving then most humans and have more love for each other. I'd rather watch them any day then humans. I just love these monkeys so much. Watch them for hours sometimes. I still haven't seen all your videos and some I have watched 10 times. Like the wonder years some are so funny especially dopey as a baby. He was just hilarious and I still laugh every time I watch them. It always cheers me up. And it's crazy how many people here in the US Rob and kill over a few dollars or kill because they robbed somebody who had nothing. These animals are better than most humans. I just love them all.
Grandee remains the coolest of the cool. One day Azzy will show us her goods. Excellent to see the two “Inkys” playing together: Dinky and Tinky. Reddy, always later, finally popped. The way she grooms her babies: there’s never a spot on them. She’s such a good mum!
Your comment on the Cambodian macaque scene is spot-on (having recently viewed a bunch). However, in my very unprofessional opinion, I view the Cambodian VO's as every bit victims as the macaques they exploit for money. As you well know, their country was ravished in the 70's, and they really have yet to recover from the mass genocide that their Government ordered against pretty much everybody. Just my two cents (and no-one asked). Most of us, especially in the US, have no idea what Cambodia has gone through. They're not evil people- it's an impoverished country (very much unlike Hong Kong), and I feel as if many folks are just trying to make a living, albeit not an honest one. Sure, they don't have to abuse animals to make money, and poverty doesn't excuse cruelty. But... again, just commenting that Cambodia is a different world from the world both you and I live in. I really enjoy your videos, and I enjoy the comments here much more than the "other" monkey scene, where wild animals are constantly criticized as "greedy" for not sharing, or "bad mothers" just for being wild (since we really have no context for any monkey behavior over there). Most importantly, I wouldn't have a base of normalcy about the macaque world if it wasn't first for your videos. And for that, I am truly grateful for what you give all of us.
Sorry i disagree..there is absolutely NO EXCUSE to abuse and use animals just for money..yes i know the country is in dire straits but what they've been doing to those poor monkey is disgusting.. sorry but I've seen what they do..their lies..Arroz did 3 video investigations and proved what they were doing..the government are not happy with them but they are sneaky and still abuse these poor animals and set up fights and injuries so they can 'help' them and put false clickbait headlines like million pity.. its all bull 💩

Reddy and Lubby are my favorite moms, along with Skinny. Skinny has to fight for everything she gets and most often goes without yet, her babies want for nothing. She's a good mom.

Hi Charles..yes he is my ultimate favourite..he is a fantastic dad and partner..very kind and gentle which for an Alpha is extremely unusual..he is a unique monkey..of course that O shape mouth makes him look such a cutie even with bits of ear missing and his broken fingers..but he still gives a good groom to his family..adore him..i was so upset when he went missing for those few weeks and we saw him struggling on his own..Bossy could do a lot worse and he sure has cute kids..
I could watch these troops all day! It’s so good they have regular feeders. That leaves them more time for grooming each other and the babies are safer.

I haven't gotten to to the end of this video but I have to comment on Grandee. I love that big guy! I haven't made it through all the older videos yet but has there been any other alpha that has shown some of Grandee's loving actions. I watched an older video the other day where some casual feeders showed up. The youngsters were crying for some of the apple the alpha male had and he just ate the whole thing. You can see that Grandee left some very good mango scrapes for the little guys to eat when he was finished. I am so intrigued with his gentle giant personality. AM you really capture some some amazing videos of what real, unmanipulated life is in the life of these beautiful close relatives.🙂✌
Hi..no this most definitely is not usual behaviour of an Alpha..they don't usually bother to groom others either..Grandee is well known for dropping or spitting out food for the group of children that are normally around him.. that's another thing Grandee always has some youngsters around him..he us truly and exceptional male monkey..

Ole Grandee...he still knows how to treat the ladies doesn't he? Don't know if he's capable of siring anymore offspring but hey he knows how to treat them nice regardless right? And what a great dad! Holy crap...in monkey society that's like unheard of! Even when it's not his kids he'll protect them! I'm glad they live in a temporary time of ultra plenty. Even when he got beat up a few times and really isn't the alpha of the gang, he's allowed to stay...he may not be the official alpha but given that there isn't one right now...he kinda still is right Arroz? Kudos to AM for stating the hard truth about the Cambodian hoodlums that torture and abuse monkeys for profit. More needs to be said about this tragic fact. Something needs to be done to stop it. If there was something we could do , I for one , would certainly participate in that effort. If I knew who to speak to, what effective action(s) I could take to stop this unpunished brutality , I would do both - I’d do anything I could. I know that there have been efforts , and by people who are animal rights activists , but so far not much has been effective on a large scale. “Steps” that have been taken have done nothing but inflict even more loss and suffering upon the macaques in Cambodia and the few other countries involved in these sick practices. RU-vid is happy to demonetize a channel for political incorrectness or going against an accepted narrative , etc. , but turns a blind eye to blatant , large scale animal abuse. Why is this the case ? Why do they do nothing ?
Bravo, Arroz. YOU ARE right. The Cambodian VOs are cruel, greedy and totally heartless, uncaring of the damage they are casing. Chasing very pregnant monkeys, or inserting themselves into a birth or stealing the baby for a great story is cruelty beyond belief, as is taking newborns, often at the cost of the mothers' lives. Dressing them, playing with them filming for a month or so and then discarding them is also cruel. Keeping them in their home, no fresh air, no trees, no extended family is heartless and the Cambodians don't care. The laws mean nothing.
Arroz,what you stated about the Cambodian cameramen is unfortunately very true and very sad. These men have no respect for the animals or viewers. Some try to make us believe they are filming for educational and humanitarian reasons. They say they are all about enlightenment, education,preserving the primates troops, social structures and community which is extremely important to these animals for strong families and strong mental stability. These people don’t have the first clue as to what monkey is in which troop and who is the matriarch or dominant male. You on the other hand have taken years to learn the troops, have named all the members from the oldest to youngest. You have learned their habits,weaknesses, strengths and you even know their parenting styles. Along with which females cannot have babies, you know the fathers as well.You care for and respect these animals and it shows! You do them no harm. You do not set them up by using food to be harmed or cause harm due to the rank and status within each troop.You have never “pretended “ to “rescue” any of them. You have never put them in a bag hanging from a tree,trapped them in a basket,plastic jug or large watermelon. Never had a dog attack them.Never poisoned them. Never trapped them under large chairs or pieces of metal.Never caused them to fall out of trees and die then or set up another female to kidnap the baby after falling and then film as the infant was starved to death. There are more horror stories. You aren’t the author of any of them. Thank you for your efforts to stop these abusers/poachers/killers. In the utter depravity and darkness which is them and their total lack of humanity and morality…. You are the decency and kindness in these stories and in these animals lives. Thank you!!
You really need to mention how these Cambodian VOs are funded by a mostly Western audience mostly from the US and UK. It may decrease some of the racist comments on these threads. Why don't you call out the audience of thise abusive channels?

AM, shame on you! Yes, ora has a perfectly smooth, pink face, she's beautiful! But, Reddy just gave birth earlier in the day, she still has the trauma oh birth on her face. In a few days I'm sure she'll give all the girls a run for their money. Either way, they both have great moms. :)

Those VOs start the fighting and chaos amongst the troop! I heard the VOs laughing when fights break out. Then they chase the injured monkeys and harass the troop! It so disgusts me! I often wonder if the VOs are a part of poaching the baby monkeys for profit too. These monkey truly are more civilized than humans by far! I keep reporting theses videos! BUT I thank you for showing how these monkeys live!
There are videos out there that make it very clear that the VOs are also poachers and their wives are at home monkey abusers! Very sad situation over there.

Thanks for the videos. I love watching the interaction of the mom's monkeys and their babies. I admired them, they have to go through the childbirth alone, and that alone should earn them a place of heroes. I prefer the dark colour coat babies like Lucy's baby. I wonder where is Lilly, i found Lilly beautiful and her baby is beautiful.
"Succulent placenta steak!" I have read that some rich (and crazy) American women are having their placentas freeze-dried and eating them. Health care givers aren't recommending this for humans as far as I know, but there are benefits for monkey mothers in eating the placenta.
The placenta is hugely valuable and is being used in skin care products already. Between placenta and stem cell research, it seems monkeys are way ahead of humans. Sadly, abortion clinics are now selling baby parts (illegally) and will carry it as far as they can get away with today.
Apparently, the placenta has nutrients to increase the baby's immunity against disease, while helping restore valuable things the mother lost during pregnancy. Very smart. Also, it means she doesn't have to forage for a few days until she is stronger.

Wow...... watching more of your beautiful videos. Some make me laugh! Some make me cry! Some make me want to catch a plane over there to give certain cuties fruit & veggies!!!!! It's really sad on a human level.... well, it's still natural for them, but, they only have such a small amount of time with their mom & families. The one with Dopey! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 They're what?!? Around 5/6 in real years, but, in monkey years it's time for them to be on their own!!! 😢😢😢 So, I totally understand in a sense that the mothers need to teach them the quicker the better. I appreciate you being there to share the real stories. The real truths. For teaching us, too. I used to think the other channels were doing good by them, too, until I learned from you & others revealing the truths about the other channels. Those monkeys are still so precious. Damn do all monkey mothers nipples end up getting stretched out to several times their original length from the babies just pulling on them all the time? Does that hurt, I wonder? Human mothers can hold their babies close, and kinda don't have to worry as much as human babies are so helpless.. but monkey babies have full ability of movement and use of all their muscles... it must be a tough job.
