After releasing this video it was brought up to my attention that this song had a darker meaning with the girls having actual, legit stalkers (A public situation with Nayeon was brought up, scary shit!). So while I'm still liking my interpretation of this song, you can easily replace the word "lover/parter" with "stalker", it especially makes even more sense in the parts where the song gets muffled, to represent that it's not only the former lover who doesn't want to hear about getting rejected but rather a legit stalker, who ignores the girls' wishes and is oblivious.

Their outfits in this mv are definitely my favorite, "fake and true" is a close second. But seeing 9 women in red and black, some of them wearing "suits" is such a beautiful image

4:42 A similar incident to the one here actually happened. When a photographer who was trying to shoot Tzuyu saw her in front of him, he put down his camera and just watched her. It was a sweet moment 😂 Everyone was sharing that moment as a real-life kdrama moment 😅

Perfect pitch analysis. Yeah, the stalker element is of course the main motivator, but the song can be interpreted as how the shallowness of certain attraction, muffles the reality and drown true feelings. They are no longer being seen as persons, but as a perfect objects to be acquired. As "Feel Special", this song truly reflect the darkest part of being an artist, specially in KPOP.

LOVE THIS!!! Always love your interpretations. Even when you don’t know some external contexts, you always put it into such a cool perspective. Perfect World is easily one of my fav Twice songs too. In general, I find that their Japanese tracks have a darker (sometimes mainly through the lyrics and small motifs in the vid, such as Fake & True) tone, which is why a really like them

Thanks for checking them, I'm glad you liked it, I think I mentioned in one of your previous twice reactions that their latest Japanese mvs have a dark undertone and honestly I love that... Their discography both Korean and Japanese are top tier I hope you can check it even in your own time, they are really versatile and for new fans sometimes it's hard to see it bc they base their opinion out of their title tracks and even though their titles are great! Their bsides are amazing Sorry the long comment, love your reactions, I like that you take the time to analyse the song and the video and make it your own I think that at the end of the day that's why idols and artists do what they do Love from Costa Rica ☺️

There is two songs i think you should check out by them next the first is alcohol free which they released last year and the second one is what is love i think you’re gonna love that one cuz it has a lot of movie references and the song and the music video are really good!

I've been waiting for this!! it really has a deep meaning and the song is just *mwah* chef's kiss. It's a common theme in their jp releases. Fake and True and Breakthrough are good jp releases from them with a deep meaning too. some of their title tracks has some meaning as well. First song that comes to mind is likey. I'm not gonna spoil anything for it. but it's kind of dark if i'm being honest. yeah that's basically it, love the reactions man and also take a break mah guy. Don't overwork yourself too much. Don't pull a 'twice'. You're not a JYPE artist(this is a joke btw but we all know they overwork their idols a lot)

Yeah this is a straight up dis track towards Josh, nayeon's stalker. He's a German dude who went to Korea cause he actually believes nayeon is in love with him. It was a scary sitch, and she had to plead with him to leave her alone. But he kept it up and actually got a ticket to be on the same flight and tried to deliver a letter to her before the managers stopped him. His channel is still active and if anything good came from the pandemic it was him not being able to go to Korea cause of restrictions. You had this figured out right away...very intuitive. Great reaction.

Thanks for another Twice reaction! Just as a reninder, Twice japanese releases has more chance to get a copyright claim so you can add a watermark or video transparecy to avoid it, with korean releases there are no such problem. Love your twice reactions, i know we ask too much for many groups and twices is not the exception, maybe a marathon of their korean releases could help and we would love to see a long video about them, maybe the twice guide from cody & wyatt too. I honestly like your take on this one. its not overreading, i think you hammered it home when you said that the world of men is crumbling down and all they can do is fight for entertainment while literally everything else is a car crash. much like what is hapenning in our world today. kudos to twice for being a commentary. their japanese releases have always been my favorite because of the depth and meanings

*sigh 😔 jype and their japanese releases. they create some of the strongest and most epic tracks and because those are jp releases dont promote them in any way back in south korea. this goes for twice as well as for itzy with their release of 'voltage' which is one of their most fire songs. ⚡🔥 its such a shame to not push those releases to their home audience as well. ☹️ perfect world is easy one of the greatest twice releases for me. that whole album is awesome. 🏆

I like when you break down the lyrics because me personally I don't put 1 & 2 together until I watch you react to it. If people don't like when you pause & break down the lyrics & m/v they should go watch another reactor.... Not so hard.
