Ahh, summer 1989 in LA. I'm cruising through the streets, listening to these songs on my cassette mixes, just taking it all in... memories I never made, but grateful for anyway.
I miss home now. Cali is home but the military brought me to the east coast and texas. The picture of the F40 just matches the music and captures the essence of what cruising around in cali in the 80's was like, perfectly.
"It's summer 1989 and you're cruising in Los Angeles''. I am happy and satisfied with me, my place, family and friends... But I hope someday the reincarnation takes me to that fisrt line...
@@westerling9088 It’s a real photo and I can confirm that it is the SF Oakland Bay Bridge. The F40 is owned by a guy who lives in Danville, about 25 minutes away. Met him at a show last July.
@@americanidle1277 if your saying its 1989 in your video title, then make sure the ferrari model you're using is relevant for that year. It looks like this commenter previously pointed this out in a different video where the car and year didn't match up.
“You’re driving through LA in the 80’s” (Inserts pic of SAN FRANCISCO’S CURRENT skyline, half of which didn’t even exist back then) 😅 good mix tho of course 🫶🏽
I wasn't even born in 1989 and my childhood was around 10 years later. But back in the late 90s, the F40 was still a very iconic car and something like the ultimate sports car. If a F40 appeared in a card game, it was the best thing that could happen to you. I will never forget its 324 kph top speed! 😂
1989............... This was when I came to the world... tHEY DONT make 80's babies the same anymore... not not 90's... 80's... nyc all day... HOnDA civic CRx era
@@babymurcielaga My God, I have fallen in love with your work as Mad Animal. Your music has the same level of intensity as Trevor Something, mixed with John Carpenter sounds. What I loved most were the little sounds that reminded me of Phonk music, like Dvurst's work. It's absolutely amazing, and I truly admire what you're doing! You've quickly jumped to the top of my list! Initially, I thought you were just compiling other people's work. I'll be honest: I downloaded one of your videos just to cut out the song "Midnight Call" and have it as an MP3 because I couldn't find the song on RU-vid. I was tempted to upload it to RU-vid, but I thought, "Maybe the creator needs the views!" So, please upload all your songs as single videos, and I promise I'll delete my copy. I can't listen to an entire compilation just for one song, and I can't put it on loop either. To make up for this, I'll share all your videos daily on my Twitter accounts, where I showcase other artists' work! Usually, I share painters and visual artists, but I've been wanting to do the same for musicians, so I'll start with you! Please, don't stop making music because it's top-level!
