The way I was taught! American/"Modern" English often has different pronunciations than the original intent. But that's okay as, just like the Megalosaurus here, things have changed a lot in the last 200 years. At the end of the day, no one is really right or wrong. Just say it however you feel most comfortable!
....gonna need some breakdown on the etymology of that name if we're gonna start taking common pronunciation and getting weird with it. Examples: helicopter 🚁 Root words "helico" meaning twist, spiral, or screw and "pter" (like pter-odactyl) meaning wing. Making the PROPER pronunciation of that word NOT "heli-copter", but instead "helico-pter" - twist wing Was "mega" NOT a word when that dinosaur was named? I need answers. 😑
@@DracoJ 100% agreed 👍 All I'm saying is we adapted that word from the "right" way, to the easy way. "Hamburger" too. They aren't "ham-burgers" They are Hamberg steaks, from the region VERBED into a bun for portability. "Hamberg-er" But we like to lazy mouth words at the easy break. 😂
God created dinosaurs and humans and they lived together but only in 18th century we start to call them dinosaurs but until then they were called DRAGONS
Interesting theory, but I prefer facts over fairy tales. Dinosaurs and humans never coexisted. And while dragons are fascinating creatures of mythology, they're not interchangeable with dinosaurs in scientific terms. But hey, if you ever find a fire-breathing T.Rex, let me know!
humans and dinosaurs NEVER coexisted.. and dinosaurs kind of.. evolved? We have animals like celeophyis a small very early theropod and animals like prosauropods he we know would eventually become the massive sauropod dinosaurs
Thats not what fossil evidence shows, nor what it says in the Bible. So unless you were there and can bring a signed note from Jesus to back up your insanity, kindly piss off.
