OMG, that's over 39 C (I always have to use 'temperature conversion' to figure out those Fahrenheits which I find really difficult to grasp)!! You Americans must be superhuman to endure such temperatures - and for several weeks at that! I honestly think I'd just totally lose my mind and fall on the floor in a nervous sweaty heap. 😮☀️☀️☀️☀️
Thunder's definitely loving it outdoors - he just glances at the house corner message boards (neighbourhood kitty gossip can wait!) and proceeds to nibble on the tasty grass here and there! I, too, love your beautiful yard, love the big trees surrounding it, and the cricket sounds and birds chirping - it's very calming to watch your kitties enjoying themselves there. ♥️🌳🌱🐦🎶🐈🌱🦗🌳
Until a single cricket makes its way into that little porch area. Millions of crickets are not a problem. It creates a steady background noise. But a single cricket inside, or right under a bedroom window is another thing altogether!
@@KnickKnack07 That's fascinating, I can imagine that the chirping (or whatever the sound is called) must be pretty annoying inside the house, it's astonishingly loud just to hear it on a video! I don't know how I'd cope with that myself, I'm not really good with loud sounds - they grate on my nerves and make me anxious (and irritated). My head seems to explode when I hear leaf blowers and other big machinery, too - it seems every time I go to the centre of this town, there's some big machine roaring and growling (doing something totally unnecessary) just to annoy me, hehe! 🙂
@@KnickKnack07That's actually why I go for my walks so early in the morning, it's nice and quiet, just the birds waking up while I walk my laps on the horse racing track. The best time of the day is about an hour before the sunrise, it's beautiful to watch the sky change when there's more and more light. This summer - and usually in the autumn - there's some fog rising from the lawn in the centre of the track. I love the fog, it turns the place into something magical - although it does remind me of the 1980 movie The Fog where there were some horrible armed men coming from the sea to get people on the shore. Hollywood has definitely spoilt me some pleasures, well at least almost, like swimming in the lake ever since I saw the Jaws! 🦈 Well, there's no lake in this boring town, so it's all good! 😊
Some times. He did yesterday, that's for sure. Before I even had the other cat in from his "walk" (no leash...I just have to hold him), he had already thrown up.
I also know that an indoor only cat lives much longer. So spare us your indignance and old fashioned ignorance. Only a fool would let their cats roam free in and near woods that has all sorts of predators like coyotes. Or any number of possible rabid animals that are around.
