I personally think you should add ribbing to that long sleeve v-neck sweater and just keep it for yourself. You don't need to rewrite the pattern for everyone if you don't want to. It sounds like you get really cold in the winter, and the more closed 'v' will keep you warmer. You're one of the most thoughtful designers when it comes to your customers that I've ever followed. It's ok to do something for yourself once :) Happy knitting!
That is so kind! Yes, I do run super cold! I'm not *quite* used to being here yet after moving from California. Thank you so much for the kind feedback--I'm so grateful that you have enjoyed what I've put out and hope that you find my patterns useful! Have a great day and happy knitting to you too.
Yay autumn knits! I love your v-neck's so much -- they always fit me perfectly. This was such a fun video to knit to while I worked on my Hibernate test, and I can't wait to knit more ASM patterns through the rest of the year 💖
Aimee! I had stopped into Wollhaus a few weeks ago and Sandy said I had just missed you by 5 minutes! I’m glad you were able to come back for a visit and I love seeing how your design portfolio and yarn shop are growing! I just might need to get myself onto your sock test knit! I hope you and the fam are doing well and are enjoying the last remaining days of summer. Take care! ❤
Hi Misha! Oh my! I'm so sorry to have missed you by only a few minutes! What a bummer. I hope to be back soon within a year or two and do an event at Wollhaus since Ulli kindly invited me back. :) Hope you are well and you are so welcome on the sock test any time.
Hey. Just leaving you a comment because I find you charming. You have a nice energy. I have to admit that my personal style is quite different from what you make but I still think your makes are beautiful. Even so I wouldn't knit them myself. And i agree on the more fingering yarn pieces for layering even if they take longer. Greetings from the indian Himalayas.
I’m glad I tuned in. I’ve been looking for a lightweight v neck sweater to wear for layering. I think the sassy V will be great. I just recently found you and subscribed to your newsletter. I love purl Soho Good Wool. I’ve used it several times so I think it will be great for the sassy v.
I’ve been dabbling in various projects (knit + crochet), trying to use up some acrylic for totes, baskets, scrubbies, bootees. Crochet baskets use yarn up!! Yayy A few WIPs are at the point where I have to “think”…. ugh! Hence little projects (or very very mindless) to keep me busy. Socks are such fun, I try to keep a pair on the needles “Just for now + then or an EZ knit”. And then I fly right along, poof, they’re done! Made a pair w just 2x2 ribbing above the heel + on the instep for “Huggability”, away from flap/gusset (I always center ribbing to the flap…) but I like the idea of ribbed flap! So many ways to adjust/play w patterns, from socks to sweaters! Always a new twist! Love the kitty markers! I’ll have to take another peek into the shop! Thank you!!
My favorite easy knit is definitely a vanilla or ribbed sock! Thank you so much for watching and sharing your projects! Hope you get a few more off the needles, ha.
Loved watching your video! Your patterns are some of my favorite in my personal library and the thoughtfulness can be felt in every pattern. Looking forward to what you get up to the autumn. I'm so excited for my own autumn knitting too :)
@@AimeeSherMakes you're so very welcome! 💖 I have some fingering weight sweaters on the needles from a few months ago I want to finish. My progress really slowed this summer, its so hot this year! I'm planning to cast on a Coloring Book Raglan and a Building Blocks Cardi so far for this Autumn and Winter 😊 Almost have my colors/yarns narrowed down 😄
I’ve just found your channel, love your designs and personality ❤ Aw Adventurous - I’ve just lost my Ginger (in the pic), he got too adventurous and lost his life to a car 😢
My summer slightly sassy became a more fall/winter one, the linen quill is too warm for DC summers, so I made the sleeves longer. I look forward to wearing it ....when I finish it! It's been too hot to work on it. All that's left is the body. I have 3 vests on my fall knitting list and 2 of them are yours! This new one and the building blocks cardi are waiting for me to be done with my last summer top project. More than likely I will be using unspun of some sort, will swatch to see what I like.
That's very kind, thank you! I credit my skin improvement recently to prescription Tretinoin (a retinol). In this video, I am wearing Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere, Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Powder, and a liquid blush--can't remember which now. But I wear the other 2 complexion products every time I wear make up :)
Hi! I’m sorry to report that the test has begun and filled in record time (since there are fewer sizes than a garment). If you subscribe to my newsletter (in description box) you’ll find out when it comes out in September! Thank you so much for your interest and I’m sorry!
OK, well if you had a brick and mortar, I was gonna stop by when I come through for a dog show. But I did place an online order today! I’m going to make your Campos vest. I can’t wait!
