As an outside observer, I don't think there is a huge talent gap between the Phillies and Yankees. Yes, Judge is the second best player in the world right now, but Harper is great. Stanton raked in the postseason, but he was not leaps-and-bounds above Schwarber on the season. Actually, statistically Schwarber was much better. Soto is the third-best player in the world, and the Phillies don't really have an answer for him. That being said, the Phillies are better at short, catcher, third, and their starting pitching is much better. The National League was just so much better than the American League in 2024. With the Braves healthy, there are four super-teams right now. The Dodgers, Braves, Phillies, and Yankees.
just shows how bad the wip hosts are they bring nothing to the show except spike he is by far the best host on wip talking about something that has no chance of happening just to have content for the show
The Yankees took advantage of a weak American League this year, basically same team as the Phillies, homerun hitters who didn’t for the most part hit in the World Series, and even with Soto lost, because of horrible defense.the dodgers won, because they invented a new way around a broken system to defer money so they could spend less now,so I don’t see the argument with those 2 teams
