@@cjaneAlaska I think Brendan is picking up on the subtle misrepresentations of scripture. The man is very passionate and captivates the attention, but some of the things he says need to be weighed and judged according to the truth. One example is when he talks about having a mindset that does not allow for sickness, like Jesus. He claims he hasn't been sick in 13 years, that may be true. He goes on to indicate that we, as followers of Jesus, should not allow for sickness and that this is how "real" living like Jesus would manifest itself. No sickness. It sounds pious, but it distorts the message of the scripture. Taken to its logical conclusion, those who follow Jesus should not, therefore, die. Is William Wood not going to die? This is just one subtle distortion. It sounds good and exciting, but in the end, he distorts the Gospel in a way that makes it another burden to carry because it has not set you free, and you have failed because you're not living like William Wood.

​@Andrew Martens I've heard that, too, that kingdom living without sickness therefore means there shouldn't be any physical death for the believer. Our bodies are not immortal though. Both my parents lived to be very very old with some late in life illnesses but still, your body just wears out.
