It was fun for many folks back in the day, I'd say up until Stardust Revolution, the game felt like the cards in the deck could be utilized in fun ways to beat your opponent, these days though, I can't say that the game feels the same as it used to, ever since First turn Quasar was possible, the game felt like you interacted with your opponent, there was ebbs and flows in the gameplay, and games lasted several turns, now if a game is longer than 3 turns it's slow. And just thinking back the decks that I played throughout the years, up to when I quit playing in 2016 feels so slow, these days, people were so upset at the end at Qliphort, but these days, Qliphort is too slow. I've seen some matches now in 2022 and it's appalling to see the rules texts on almost all cards. Sure there were a few text riddled cards in the old days as well, Parasite Paracide, but even that is nothing... Some of the modern cards require magnifying lenses to read... One thing is certain though, it's an extremely expensive hobby.
@@livedandletdie Absolutely - the meta in ygo is crazy these days. And sure is a very expensive hobby :'( but its so addictive - all the serotonin from opening packs.
