I totally get you Beak, I completely maxed out my TH8 base, 5/5 builders, every troop and spell maxed even, I even geared up the archer tower and the cannon, every last wall was maxed, but I couldn't bring myself to upgrade my TH, I wanted to be a maxed TH for a few more days, so that's what I did. The best TH for dragon raids is TH 8 because you have poopy air defenses usually near the edge of the base so you can snipe them, and GoWipe is just O friggin P at TH8 as well, so I gave myself 6 days and fought in 2 wars getting 6 stars in each war so 12 overall, and my base got attacked but only got 1 starred because I put a lot of things outside my walls. It was so sad to go to TH 9 but it was fun because in my head i was thinking i would go from a maxed th 8 to a bare minimum th 9, but i can't believe how stupid was because that's not a bare minimum th9, lots of th 9s don't have a single Lvl 8 wall or don't even have both x bows built, so i was still a pretty Ok th 9, what i would recommend guys for TH 9, is upgrade the laboratory, dark barraks and heroes FIRST, then the troops and the defenses, If you absolutely love baby drags then upgrade 1 barracks but tbh they are overrated and kind of a crappy troop, your main focus should be troops and heroes to get loot and since heroes are offense aaannd defense
@@nickgiannico1186 no I have all my defenses and barracks and most of my fences to max the only thing I need to upgrade to max is the elixer and coin producers and then I'll upgrade the town hall
