This video actually made me get up and try animating for the first time. It wasn’t a great animation, it was just a small character walking, but I like it and I’m proud I was able to actually try it. Thank you for making this video, keep up the great work!!

flowstate i just want you to know the impact you’ve had on me over the past couple months, you gave me the motivation i needed to drop my whole friend group (toxic people), helped me be more aware and help others more (not that i wasn’t considerate before but now i’ve found myself helping out old people at the train station and stuff like that), helped me prioritize my mental health before other useless stuff, there’s more which i’m not gonna post in a youtube comment section but i owe so much to you so thank you, thank you so much

Keep up the good work ❤ As long as you're seeing improvement that's a huge benefit on your mental health. I find myself remembering that every person I cross paths with in Toronto all live their own unique lives with their own experiences, etc - it reminds me we're all a person. Good for you for getting away from those negative friends, it can be hard to isolate yourself from something you're so familiar with in order to grow - but sometimes it's necessary. Way too long of a comment, but good luck and best wishes homie 🤘

I was once in your shoes ( a stick ) and one of my greatest motivators was asking myself, "What else would I be doing with this time?" Would I be playing video games? The thing I've done for days on end for years? What do I really lose by going to the gym for roughly an hour or longer? I am only gaining something. Something real. Applying that mindset to other things that actively improve me is an incredible driving force. Getting others to see that now is the true challenge, and I think you've hit the mark with this video. Thanks for bringing others up with you, keep killin in man.

I've been struggling with social anxiety for a while now, i've gotten increasingly annoyed at how it seems to stops me from forming bonds the way i'd want to. From what i've heard the most straight-forward fix seems to just face your fears as they become less and less threatening each time. This video motivates furhter me to try and put myself in those uncomfortable situations to help myself, Thank you
@ratking67
@ratking67 9 месяцев назад
This is a thing that I'm sure has different solutions for different people, but one big factor that helped me overcome horrible anxiety was finding a hobby that is sort of communal but individual at the base. For example, I got extremely into rock climbing, like absolutely engulfed in it, but after a few months I realized how social I was being to the other people in the gym just because we're all doing the same things so it's relatable. I know it's hard at first, but if you're mutually interested in the topic you'll eventually become long term friends just doing fun shit together. Whether it's as niche as climbing or just normal weight lifting you get to meet people in a more relatable way while improving a skill or yourself is an incredible way to grow.

thanks for this man. im a uni student just gone into 2nd year and ive been going gym every now and again with my room mates, going out for walks or bike rides, working on either my side hustle or uni work, but eventually putting all that aside to either play games or watch stuff. being really unproductive basically. first year was a let off because it was just a practice year preparing everyone for the next 2 which will count for our final grades, so now i really need to get my act together. ive been going gym more in the past couple months, getting my side hustles sorted and running in prep for the new year of uni, and going a real routine going. this video has ticked it over for me. thank you.

RU-vid music or both would be amazing for Flowstate and his fans. Just remember not to over extend yourself so much you lose the passion for whatever you choose in life. Discipline and drive are needed but fruitless without the joy of works complete. Man music from Flowstate would be so impactful for so many people as this channel has been. Best of luck my friend and those fans of his taking on their passions as well.

This video spoke to me, so i’m hoping to speak back. “fixing” your life does take a lot of time. It’s going to be a long and difficult process, but it does get easier. If you add to much to your “plate” because it feels empty or you’re wasting away, it can crush you and you’ll be back to where you are. Keep in mind, you have time. I don’t know your situation, but i can relate. I’m 19, didn’t go to college, and have been working out of my parents house since highschool. I’m planning on moving in with my girlfriend at the start of next year. (i’m also tall and skinny and can’t put on weight either) The point i’m trying to make is, take your time and enjoy the process. Fixing my life at 2am after a random burst of self improvement hits, won’t last because you set the expectations too high. This video was definitely a great way to open people’s eyes to the fact we could be doing more and feeling better, and i thank you for spreading that message. TLDR take your time with everything, we have our whole lives ahead of us. and don’t feel like you need to “fix” anything, because nothing is broken. we’re just chugging along and it feels weird not doing anything.

This very much so resonated within me, I appreciate your thoughts that you let out and how level minded you are, I love how you can think to aspire these things. I am in the same boat, its never ending excuses but there's degrees where I make my life more comfortable so in turn I can feel the motivation to once again work on the projects I am interested in. These concepts of how you deal with your time is just life, and that's how life works for anything to happen with your peace in mind. I really needed to see this, I am ever thankful I checked RU-vid. Thank you for your words, and thank you ever so much for sharing it. "I'm sorry about the length of my comment, it is me expressing my feelings after the video" When I was 13 I noticed I was too skinny, and too short. When I was 14 I realized school was going to get harder if I wasn't social. At 15 I learned the world is harder than I gave it credit for, and learned there is a darkness that as a child you are blessed to not understand. At 16 I didn't want to be social, I couldn't cope with the workload and the stress of home became a pit. So I tried to take shelter in school and my friend's houses. I had been used to being in different peoples houses since I was 9 or 10. Having had to restart somewhere else and have it taken away after getting established. Yet being in comfort that being taken from the new home and state, sent me back to my original state in the same home. Having matured from when I was last at home. When I became 17, the stress of my two parents fell unto me. Forced to deal with money, to take care of my home, for the last few years my first dog which my parents hate to deal with. Forced to rush life and get my own sh*t together. Progressively through everything, trying to stick to working out, having gone through multiple life changing events, becoming immune to empathy then struggling to build it again, wanting to not be seen after being seen for wrong reasons, portraying myself wrong everytime I try to do right. Noticing how much funnier I am to others the more I suffer without saying anything. Getting stuck in dreams for seeminglessly infinite time, reliving horrific moments, briefly seeing futures that i want to see. Understanding life was one of my first goals to achieve, I discovered the whole point, was the Quest you took to make the best of your life, to find out the meaning, the answer has always been in the question. From sleeping soundly to discovering mental issues. From being scared of the dark, to being safe in it, to being paranoid from anything, to letting my guard down due to not caring anymore about what happens. When I become 18, or When I see fit, or When I'm happy with myself. I want to change. I want to improve. I have such high goals, everyone has such high standards, such high hopes. I've listened to music my whole life trying to understand how I can make others happy by making it myself. I can't even find where to start half of my goals. To protect myself, to constantly find new ways to add useful tools in my arsenal, whether its a phone app to help me learn, or a notebook to track what i fixate my brain on every month. My attention span is ridiculous, my morales are nonexistent, but equally stronger than anything else. Loss, Confusion, and the fear of Death, among a multitude of reasonings- have caused me to mature myself as fast as I can, to learn and soak up as much as I can. I went from not talking, to talking, to becoming a listener in everyday life, soaking up knowledge while constantly using my Brain to think and analyze every situation I'll ever be in. The regret of not being there for those I've lost. And the regret of those I've helped that turn onto me. And the pain of trusting myself, just to turn my back on everything I loved and knew once. At some point, I realized that there's more to comprehend than one person can learn. Alone, that is. And once I figured that out, I already realized I had been alone for all that I had ever known. I may be funny to others, and sometimes I help them stick to each other. And them all become happy. But what good is glue, without anything to be used for. But what good is a therapist, without any more patients to help. But what good is a kid with potential, without stability or self esteem. Or the will to keep going when all you get is nowhere, and constant negativity. I thought I was positive once. Some people I won't let see a negative side of myself, and others have only seen that. I can't make my own decisions quick enough, but I can change my life constantly over the course of 10 years, just to realize I hadn't even began my Journey yet. Yes I have dreamed of going to M.I.T since I was only in elementary school. And yes it started with a fascination of technology, plenty of years of research, classes, and apps, and books, and programs. But they've gotten me nowhere, I can't even take standardized tests correctly. I ace them when I think I'm failing them and I can only turn in assignments that are 100% right or else I never will turn it in. Bad habits are the story of my life, it's worse than spending years working out just to discover you were never close to a perfect form. The amount of unlearning I've had to do in life already is daunting. But I don't want to give up, even though I have goals to go to a perfect college, to make music, to save people, to reach a dream physique of not a twig, to master calisthenics, to make beats, music, songs, animations, to make computer hardware, to take up swordsmanship, to learn languages, to master techniques, to learn my own body, to protect my life, and live for others. To find love in someone who won't lie when they tell me they Truly Loved Me as they walked away. ____________________________ I'm sorry if you read all of this. But the slim chance that you did means I was heard. That's all I've ever wanted... This is my story, These are my truths.

A line i randomly read online really stuck with me is "all this time travel media about how the tiniest actions in the past can have massive effects. And yet people barely ever talk about how tiny steps they take to make a possitive change in the present, could have massive effects into the future when watching/reading about these stories". It was something along those lines, tho not exactly. It was phrased more succinctly in the actual post I read.

I can relate to this in a huge way. I started a class for home inspection in early 2021. It probably should have taken me 6 months to a year max to finish and get going. A lot has happened since then, but I only just got my license this year and I still haven't gotten started. I've been trying to learn more about why it's so hard for me to get going at this. It doesn't make sense how someone can desire something better but have such a hard time making it happen. I listened to one of Mel Robbins podcasts and one of the people she was talking to said that it was almost like feeling shitty had become comfortable. We get too comfortable in life I believe. Even knowing that I won't get better unless I challenge myself and make myself uncomfortable, it's still hard to make myself do hard things. I try to remind myself that I've done hard things before, but it doesn't always work. They say procrastination is a trauma response. A little tip I learned is that when you catch yourself procrastinating, try doing what you should be focused on for 5 minutes and chances are you'll keep doing it. Thanks for uploading this! I'm probably going to procrastinate by watching all your videos now! lol

Most people-myself included-watch motivational videos, read up on how they could improve, maybe even go as far as to make plans for an "improvement journey", but I bet most people never ever act upon these tips, just getting the dopamine hit from watching these and leaving it as is. Don't be too hard on yourself all the time. It's alright sometimes to take a break from the outside world. Often times the brain tells you that you're not doing enough and tries to discourage you. That's the time when you need to understand that even doing a little today is still better that doing nothing. And eventually when you get momentum it will get easier. It's completely normal to fell lazy after having so much on your mind. The thing is you need to improve step by step at a time. So just don't think about it too much, just pick a single thing that you want to improve and do it. The point is, you can't improve 3 things at once. Nice video also 💯

Love the content. This came at a time I am starting to work out at the gym and I have so many pressures put upon myself at 18 to learn how to drive and get a better job because my current one isn’t paying and I wanna move out with my girlfriend someday. It’s all a lot. As someone who really struggles with procrastination in the same way, where I was never taught discipline and only am moved by motivation. It’s a huge struggle. But I’m motivated as a whole to change my life, and develop discipline in the specific nuances of what I’m doing whether that be working out or driving. Thank you for the small little boost for today to make it easier to get out of bed Flow. Really enjoying season 2 - SlaySoup

This is so me it's almost eerie. Being someone who's trying to workout but hasn't dedicated themselves to it. Being a music producer who hasn't put much effort in to improve (who also has a friend who is ALSO a music producer, though he's become a lot more successful than I have). Being someone with a RU-vid channel they don't upload on consistently. And I just started college too.

as a new artist that just started making music not too long ago, i released my first single a few days ago and im very happy with the way it came out. i have always procrasinated music because part of me felt like i wouldn't be good enough but i never really tried until recently and i love it. i've come to realize that music is an art and like you said everyone is a noob at the beginning including me lol but i'm happy that i actually took action on making music and releasing my first song was a big acomplishment to me, especially with how hard i am on myself i really liked the way it came out. this video randomly popped into my reccomended and honestly im glad it did because i needed this. you earned a sub man and i'm glad your getting the recognition you deserve and as with your music, i took the time to listen to a few of your songs and they sounded really good your very talented and have a lot of potential. i wish you nothing but the best man.

I really like your ideas and the calm way in which you project them. Unlike the rest of generical "self-improvement" youtubers (not saying that you are one but it's the label I'd choose for the topic), you can really tell you put some effort in your channel/videos, and not trying to make an easy, attention-grabbing cashcow like everyone else. Really appreciate it !!

This was a very delightful watch. I'm going through the same thing with the weight situation. During senior year of high school i decided I was going to gain weight and i did gain some weight but when freshman year of college came around I kind of just plateued. Finally, during the summer right now I've been really getting my act together and have managed to gain 15 pounds in 2 months. So almost 2 pounds a week. Even though that is alright, I know I could do better, and plan on trying to make it 20 pounds a month. I think thats a good healthy goal. Going to the gym has pretty much been very consistent, but you can only get so far with bad nutrituion. Thanks again for making a great and relatable video.

i can relate to the music thing. I've been pondering on little tidbits/progressions in my room for the last few years to the point where I've become very knowledgeable about jazz and music and all that. But now is the time to acquire the skills connected to publishing polished pieces of music. I find it hard, developing a new skill and sticking to it. Thanks for the video.

I feel like i am at the exact same place as you, as a 15 year old teen i am surely not at the exact same place, but i feel a lot of press on me that i need to change my life. I will try my best, i know that much but the hard thing is knowing what is hard enough, when can i relax, when do i go all out. good luck to any other person in the world who feels like something is missing or like they need to change.

This is the first video I've watched of you and the section about you talking about making music hit me really hard. I've been a composer as a side passion for many years with very little to show that. Mainly cuz I doubt my ability to compose awesome cinematic compositions for movies and games. And working 40 hours a week and coming home tired as hell doesn't help either. I know I definitely have to put more work into my craft but resistance is always there to stop me and question my abilities to go after what I really want and succeed at it. I wish I had the same drive as you and a lot of other musicians have, but I know I'm not the only one that feels stuck as well. I wish you the best of luck in your journey in creating music and hope you make it big someday! I'm hoping that for myself too, but of course I am my own worst critic and says otherwise. Regardless, we all deserve to go after what we really want and we are worthy of it! Go out there and make it happen!!!

First video seeing from you and its hitting home really hard. I am 25, been working full time for 5 years now, no college, manual labor, etc etc, and just this week I start my first 3 day work week at my 9-5. The other 4 days (thursday through sunday) I plan on going to yard sales and thrift stores then reselling the stuff I find there, as well as working on website development and music production. I am so excited to take this step, I am so ready for it, and I want to encourage anyone else looking to make a jump like this to do it! (if you can afford it and make it happen of course!)

First of all Great Video man the scenes were amazing. Story time: I am finally starting college soon my life consisted of guidance I always expected someone to guide me and basically tell me what to do. WELP you can't, there were times i was alone and realize that i was actually "alone" only for that brief moment (i have good people around me), it hit so hard on my self that i need to make choices soon. Managed to get to a school/university that i wasn't expecting on passing and finally here I am, InfoTech trying to learn coding while school days aren't here yet. I am yearning to be a future programmer but damn every time i sit down and watch some form of coding tutorial i end up not finishing the video and end up doing something else basically procastinating i really need to put in effort, one of your lines hit me "Stop being so lazy, stop making excuses, if you put in mediocre effort you're gonna get mediocre results" -flowstate i'll try my best hopefully, goodluck to everyone else

Im not even an adult and i still feel a need to constantly improve. To get better at something. It's kinda like i have to prove something to someone that might not even exist. Im really confused in life but i hope that no matter what i will still be trying to improve my life. I have a lot of problems, but they're fixable. If anyone would want to talk with me I'd be glad. I love talking with people. I didn't do my daily run today. It's almost midnight, but I don't care. I'm going for my run. See you all in 30 minutes.
