That's it guys...after 2 years of the $10 Dollar Game Collection...it comes to an end. 70+ episodes of Game Hunting videos going to the wildest places to find video games cheap to build the collection. We have scrapped and clawed our way building a game collection by flipping games on Ebay, trades with other collectors and just hustling to make it all happen. What to do with the collection now? Well its going to all of you! I am going to auction off the collection on the app WhatNot on Jan 28th and it is going to be a wild time...come hang out and get these amazing games! Always on the hunt for retro games, vintage toys and 80s / 90s nostalgia at Flea Markets, Thrift Stores & Garage Sales! Thanks Rick for reigniting my passion for game and collectible hunting, you made me go back to Goodwills after I gave up on finding anything! I really can't pinpoint a favorite episode but man everytime you find a ton of good games at goodwill I get so happy and excited that one day that will happen to me. I just started thrifting two weeks ago and I got some some stuff and starting to flip them. Thanks for everything man, still learning but a nice way to make some extra money thats for sure.

I have a suggestion (apologies if it has already been noted). To come full circle with season one of the $10 collection, perhaps keep record of everything you sell/keep and give one final update once everything has been sold down the track (maybe chime in as part of your season 2 videos). I would find it super interesting to see how much you got for the collection 🧐

it would be a really good idea to make a season 2 of the game collection challenge based on complete the full set of a espefic game console, by example: trying to complete the full U.S. set of the n64 or the full U.S. set of SNES games.

It’s hard to just pick one episode. This channel made me get back looking for my old games again. Not much luck though lol. I would say the first episode is my favorite, you took a chance with ten dollars and showed us there was a way of getting games and don’t have to over pay for it. I admire the dedication to put this together. I respectfully want to share my thoughts on the $10 idea. In reality, if you factor the amount of time needed to hunt these games down, and think about the spend time from a salary per hour perspective. You have to spend a lot more than $10 dollars. I know that in your case you make stops at stores in your way to work. But in reality, the time and energy required to do what you do is worth far more than $10. Again, I love your series and all the work you do. In a way I am trying to say that you worked really, really hard for this collection. I admire that and I wish you the best.

@David Bastos I agree with your point of view. It is all about enjoying what you do, like going out hunting for games. That is why I said that I really admire his dedication. Because of my busy schedule,I can't take that amount of time needed to go out hunting for games like many other do. I have other priorities related to my personal and family life. But, I agree with you. It is so much fun to go out hunting for games. If only I had more time. I hope I made my point a bit more clear. I honestly think that you are right.

Rick, thank you for this series. When it started, when I found you, some stuff in my life wasn't the best. But this series helped keep my spirits up. I found myself pushing watch on every new episode faster than any other series I'd watched on RU-vid before. It pumped life back into my collecting, my reselling and within myself. It may sound dumb that a video game collecting series on RU-vid helped me like that...but it did, more than you could know. So thank you, I am so excited for Season 2 and all that's coming from you in 2022.

I didn't even know this guy before this month, and I think he should have done a subscriber giveaway for the entire collection (something clearly I wouldn't have been a part of whatsoever.) because something like that says, "Money is nice, but you're all priceless." also, let's not be too sappy about it, you also fill out your subscribers when you announce this kind of thing. It would have probably been a lot more fulfilling for you and everyone in general than just 2K dollars you blew next week lol

My favorite episode is "Bought this @ Goodwill WITHOUT OPENING IT! (WORTH HUNDREDS) ." You bought a box of modern pokemon cards from goodwill. It was great to see because Pokemon cards are a big part of my collectibles hobby. I loved the series and best wishes for your next season of videos.

First episode is still my favorite, it really got me thinking differently about collecting. When I saw that episode, I had just a few NES games in my collection, and since then I've amassed around 150 NES games, 11 of my top favorite SNES carts , 8 of the ever elusive Turbo games w/case, and 53 genesis games w/case, as well as 3 of the 4 systems. You definitely CAN collect retro games in 2022!

Loved this series and sad to see it end, but excited to see season 2! Now what was my favorite episode? That’s a tough choice… I think it’s more moments for me. Like that time with that crazy find of Chibi-Robo on the GameCube or Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn on the Wii!! That still blows my mind!!! Also that lovely looking FF8 black label PS1 find was awesome for me since it’s one of my favorite Final Fantasy games. So much nostalgia seeing that game again. Made me dig around in my old bins to find all my PS1 stuff, so happy still have my childhood copy of it. Hahaha. Thanks for the wonderful series and all other videos. I look forward to seeing more in the future. Have a good one.

It has been a great series, only found it half way through, so missed a lot of the earlier stuff, one that sticks out in my memory was "Bought a Storage Unit FILLED with 1,000s of VIDEO GAMES!" episode, all those N64 games, awesome stuff. I've built up a collection in a similar way of "trading up" still going strong, going more focused is defo the way forward, for years I'd buy literally anything retro I'd find, but it just sits on shelves/boxes and just needed to go. Look forward to series 2.

I am such a huge fan that last week I purchased a "RETRO" Hoodie and just got it Friday. Hey Retro- Jim here from Northern Wisc. I know this video is about games...but...long story short...in one of your past videos you mentioned you had I believe about 6 "McD's Riddler glasses. I had the complete set up until about 9 years ago when the Robin & Riddler glasses were broken...I replaced the Robin mug before moving my belongings into storage for 5 years...While in my stuff was in storage I came across an incomplete set of McD's mugs which I immediately purchased as the price was appropriate...Well I couldn't remember which mug I replaced...and now I'm in need of 2 Riddler mugs to make 2 complete sets. I also have a buddy looking for a Two-Face mug. If I can purchase these 3 items from you at.a reasonable price it'd be greatly appreciated.

I've been laid-up for over a month with two broke legs (oh yeah, for real. One of them was a compound break...And it effn sucks!) and discovered this channel one sleepless night in pain while in the hospital like at 4am. All I can say is that I absolutely love this channel! Fast forward, now I'm at least at home and my kids even watch and love the cool finds you find out in the wild, in the hunt! I can't go to the thrift stores and flea markets rn to hunt for toys or games but with this channel EVERY episode is like taking me on a video tour lol. Even giving me some great ideas on stuff to look for when hunting...when I'm finally able to. But if I had to choose my favorite episode though, it would be a tie...1st is when you got those mint on card TMNT figures, so lucky! I was super jealous! 2nd is the multi part episodes when you purchased the storage unit and completed your N64 in box collection. That was epic, and I was stoked for you! Love the channel, SO glad that you're going to change it up and continue! That thumbnail had me worried 😅Anyways, thanks for all the great content RR! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Sad to see the $10 go. WhatNot is cool but everything I've ordered....they definitely don't take care of what they're selling. I've gotten discs that were destroyed, discs that had white goo dried all over them, a gamecube console with scratches all over the circle part at the top. The concept is great, just be careful before you buy something. You'd think it would be required to make sure they look good, are resurfaced, etc. I couldn't consciously sell something I knew was in awful condition. Favorite $10 episode - Can't remember all of them but the Nintendo lot with 31 games for $100 was pretty cool. Golden Tee was awesome for $15 also.

Rick, thank you for these videos. They’ve brought back a flood of nostalgia to me. I can’t recall if my favorite was in the $10 Game challenge or another video of yours, but you just casually found a copy of Resident Evil 2 for PS1 casually tucked away on a top shelf of a pawn shop one day. That’s the first RE game I remember playing; I picked it up on the N64 back in the day and a few summers ago, found it at a large yard sale for the PS. Long story short, the guy gave me the copy for free (we had shot the breeze about gaming when I had brought up my brother who had passed the month before) and when I circled around to ask the price, he said it was mine to keep. I’ll always cherish it.

I think one of your non-$10 videos got onto my recommended list and I binged watch them because of all the 80s/90s stuff you saw. Then I saw your $10 series/challenge and it took me back to when I used to go on cheapassgamer to look at GameStop sales and deals, toys r us sales picking up clearance stuff to flip at GameStop. I didn’t start off with $10 but because of flipping and reselling got my 300+ ps2 collection for free. My favorite episodes are any deals at goodwill because they’re everywhere and your videos got me wanting to visit my local ones. Unfortunately I have a toddler and don’t have time to check them out.

Great pick ups for last of season 1. I have been watching your videos for about 2 years now and seen just about every $10 pick up video. If I have to pick a topic it has to be any of the videos where you pick up WiiU and Gamecube games. Those are the main ones I have been collecting the past 3 years.
