Why, Bernard Tomic is the GOAT you ask? Well, you see, Bernard Tomic is the GOAT because he's mastered the art of making tennis look like a sophisticated game of chess played on a court paved with memes. His strategic brilliance is so next level that his opponents are often left wondering if they accidentally stumbled into a parallel universe where forehands are served with a side of wit, and backhands come with a punchline. Tomic's unparalleled talent extends beyond the baseline... He's the only player capable of acing both tennis matches and the game of; "How to Keep a Straight Face While Delivering Sarcastic Press Conferences." His on-court swagger is matched only by his off-court finesse in turning post-match interviews into comedy specials. Forget about Grand Slam titles... Tomic's trophy cabinet is filled with 'Best Deadpan Delivery' awards and 'Most Unpredictable Shot Selection' accolades. Opponents tremble not just at the thought of facing his drop shots but also at the prospect of being roasted by his razor-sharp banter. In the illustrious history of tennis, Bernard Tomic stands alone - not just as a player, but as a maestro of mischief, a virtuoso of versatility, and a genuine GOAT in the grand spectacle of tennis absurdity. I always play with 52-48 Lb. When I tried to loose it to 44 Lb I had no control at all. Then I got a arm pain. So I was forced to loose the tension. I went crazy, like Mannarino style and said to stringer... put it on 32Lb ! And surprisingly I love play with 32Lb, really relaxation on my shots, less effort, good control with a lot spin, it there's no coming back. I use Head Speed MP, Gamma Moto 1.30, 32Lb. I found the perfect and confortable tension for me.

Also, thanks for featuring some of my video clips, and the shout-out to my channel! 🙏 To clarify, the Babolat RDC is no longer sold anywhere unless you find a used one for sale. The Wilson Baiardo Tune Pro can measure string bed deflection like the RDC, however, not many people will want to spend $7,500. With that said, the ERT300 is a bargain . . . LOL! 🤣 I noticed a couple comments that I could help answer, but would it be okay if I provided a link to a video I created to help explain my answer? I know this issponsored, but a more econimical option is an app called Racquet tune. It uses the sound/vibrations to calculate stiffness. Is it the most accurate? A better question is that it's repeatable/reproducible. So if my racquet's measuring 45# after 1 week, and is now down to 40, I know I've lost 10%. It's helpful to know when I should restring as I find after losing 15% tension (for me this threshold is where the string starts behaving odd and breakage is pretty close)
@AMstringing
@AMstringing 6 месяцев назад
Aloha, With Beckett's permission, I'm happy to address your question and share a video link. I've tested the RacquetTune app alongside the ERT(700 & 300) and the Stringmeter. The one thing I've noticed about the RacquetTune, is that it doesn't always read certain hybrid string setups, especially strung at low tensions. The RacquetTune app is still a good device to measure tension loss. The best way to measure tension loss is to take your initial reading right after the racquet comes off the stringing machine. You'll be surprised how tension loss occurs overnight. 🤨 Here are a couple of my videos where I compare and track tension loss using different string tension devices. Part 1 - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9Ux5eBzXrCY.html Part 2 - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LzCXrTgMPLE.html I hope this helps. 🤙

With eCP machines the longer u let it pull b4 clamp off will yield a higher tension. Where as with lockout machines the longer u wait the lower the tension since the tension head is locked out the strings immediately start to lose tension. So quicker isn’t always better with eCPs.

Beckett I just recently got a Whiteout 18x20 but can’t decide on string/tension. Im between Confidential and Tour Sniper. I usually play at a higher tension than most, currently at 55 in my ET Auxetic. What would you recommend between those two for that racket and should I change my tension? Thanks keep up the good work!
@TennCom
@TennCom 5 месяцев назад
Thanks! I would recommend dropping down to 50lbs. I used 52lbs in my ET360+ which plays stiffer and more controlled than the Auxetic version, then dropped to 49/46lbs on my WO. Confidential feels relatively normal in the WO, but Tour Sniper can feel quite boardy off centre if its too tight.

You mentioned a longer time taken to string a racket could lead to lower dynamic tension vs reference tension. How come? Does a longer time taken just indicate the stringer is less experienced and more likely to have a result further from the reference tension? Or does it actually have to do with the racket spending more time on the machine
@TennCom
@TennCom 6 месяцев назад
The longer you take, the greater the opportunity for tension loss. Often taking a long time mean you might have made an error and had to go back, another instance of tension loss, and with lock-out machines (crank) the system starts losing tension as soon as you stop physically cranking the machine
@AMstringing
@AMstringing 6 месяцев назад
Aloha, With Beckett's permission, I'm happy to address your question and share a video link. The amount of time it takes to string a racquet can influence the overall string tension, dynamic tension, and string bed deflection. The main thing is that the stringer is consistent in stringing time to ensure consistent tension. Here's a video where I purposely took a lunch break in the middle of stringing a racquet. 🤭 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kgYifylMABs.html

'Love Dynamic Tension! If you know your preferred DT, you can recreate it in any frame. I use the Stringway Tension Advisor to figure out how to string all my different frames at 33 DT, each frame requiring very different poundage to reach 33, and they all feel the same, whether a 98 with 18x20 strings or a 95 with 16x19. So dynamic tension is springyness? softer string = more springyness.... but then how can one see how the string tension really is in kg/lbs on this converter wheel thingy? Doesnt it have to factor in the level of softness of the material?
@TennCom
@TennCom 6 месяцев назад
The wheel this is more of an estimator. It's better to just take DT at face value. I wouldn't say its springyness, as it only has to do with the compression of the stringbed, not the rebound.
@benjaminjensen111
@benjaminjensen111 6 месяцев назад
@@TennCom I think that its great to know a value of a string or stringbed so there is something comparable in order to dial in racquet and string. But as I havent used one of these yet and only slowing growing as a stringer ( for myself and others) My guess is that you cant cross ref different strings and raquets with this on DT Value but only for one particular string and racquet at a time... as the DT doesnt alone say much about springyness, tramboline effect, return of energy, feel, vibration etc. I guess using some different lead weights in the middle of the sweetspot can do the same as it will change over time how much the stringbed compresses and thus gives different values in cm/inch and how far the weight will sink in the string bed..... now only need to find a weight that is right for the job, maybe 1 kg and attach a cut string of cotton and use a ruler to meassure the change vertically. maybe that will be as exact as something can be

@sebastiandomagala9233 6 месяцев назад
Not bad for a sponsored video. The thing is though, recreational players like us mere mortals have to accept a variety of string tensions from fresh to old tensions, especially when polys are in the string bed. I won't restring my racquet every match or even every week. A racquet in my eyes is still considered fresh after two hitting sessions, No matter if training or match. So only pros or wannabes will benefit from this device if they chose to get their sticks restrung more often than played with.
