That's right. Having a soulmate doesn't mean you need to be in a romantic relationship, anyone can be your soulmate, whether they're the same sex as you or the opposite. It's just a person who understands you the most out of everyone else in your life, the one you can share everything with that you can't share with others, the one who would always stick by your side when no one else would. They are the one who knows you better than you know yourself and anyone who knows you. They're just like your other half, they full-filled your missing piece. Your soulmate can be anyone, your best friend, your family, or your significant person (boyfriend/girlfriend), it really doesn't matter what gender.

That's right man. The characters in Boy Meets World had the best chemistry, which the characters in Girl Meets World can't beat those characters. However, they're not really so bad, even though some parts of the way they talk sounds so obvious like they're talking out of the script, there are some developments in the characters in GMW though, especially Maya. She's my favorite character in the series, the way she portrayed her emotions into her acting was great. And I think Riley and Maya's chemistry are good too. Cory and Shawn are the best there is in Boy Meets World, not even Riley and Maya can't top them, their friendship were raw and real, and it was relatable, but rare. Also, I think that between Cory/Riley and Shawn/Maya, even though they have things in common between them, but at the same time, they're not completely the same. Between Cory and Riley, they're not quite similar. Cory was an underachiever and a slacker, he was a hyperactive kid, he wasn't the smartest kid in school, he was troublesome and liked to lead troubles in class and school, he was average, and he was even more rebellious than Riley is, he tries hard to study getting good grades in his junior and senior years of high school, but sometimes he didn't really cared so much about his grades, he gets into trouble way more than Riley ever have, he didn't always do what his parents told him to do, and he got in detention a lot of times for things he did and didn't do, and he acts his age, but even when he grew up, he still has the childish sides in him; while Riley is such a good daughter and a good student, always strive herself to get good grades, is not rebellious, she listens to her parents even when she tries to rebel sometimes, she still follow rules, she hardly get in trouble at all, she is one of the smart kid in her class but tends to pretend not to, she never have detention, and she acts more mature than her age. As for Shawn, he lost so many people in his entire life, he lost so much things, he endured more struggles than Maya ever did, he was way, way more rebellious than Maya ever is, he ran away to find himself so many times, he also wasn't the smartest kid in school, he pushed his loved ones away a lot whenever there were problems coming to him because he doesn't want them to worry and because he hates "charity" and pity as he wants respect; while Maya only lost her dad to another family, but she still has her mom who cares and loves her and stays with her, she doesn't push people away, she can't go as far as Shawn did with his rebellions, she's a smart girl who acts like she's not, she is too loyal to Riley to let herself leave her best friend alone, she doesn't mind getting gifts, she's a little more open with her feelings than Shawn is because Shawn is not much of a talker and not so good with expressing his feelings.

This has, and always will be my favorite growing up show. No show comes close to showing what it's like to be awkward and young and desperate to be liked or cool, while also tackling things like death, love, broken homes and the meaning of doing the right thing even if you're doing it alone. BMW by far stands above the rest

marquez hicks- sadly, it probably would. Everything has to be so extra and abnormal nowadays. That's pretty much what everything is now. The 90s was so original and great. SO glad it wasn't made in this generation, they would ruin and I mean RUIN it. Plus I honestly don't think Rider and Ben would be down with that...whole...gay thing.

While I personally think it's an amazing example for young boys in particular to have a platonic relationship be depicted as intimate and meaningful as Cory and Shawn's, there's also nothing at all "abnormal" about gay relationships. And considering that Ben and Rider both seem quite cool and open minded, I'd doubt they would have had a problem if the show had gone that route. No, there wouldn't have been anything wrong with portraying a great gay relationship (LGBTQ representation is necessary and important) and it most certainly would have been far ahead of its time if they'd went there! But like I said, the reason I appreciate the fact that they didn't is simply because it is so rare to find a portrayal of such an incredible, deep, and emotionally available platonic relationship between between young boys. And I think it's a huuugely *important* message to send to young boys that it is good and healthy and something to aim for to have a friendship like this, and it need not have anything to do with questioning sexuality (if it does, that's cool too, but loving someone that much doesn't *have* to mean you love them romantically). Heck, even just young people in general... it's important to know that a platonic relationship can be every bit as necessary and meaningful in a person's life as a romantic one! We as a culture put so much emphasis on romance, and Cory and Shawn are a perfect example of how sometimes you can love someone like crazy and need them in your life, and it has nothing at all to do with romantic attraction to them.

I'm ok with that Love Cory and Shawn I grew up watching Boy meets World . It was the best show I could have ever watched til this day I will always love it and it will have something special in me. Memories I shared with my sister watching without a care in the world 💙💙💙💙
