Although I do like your way of thinking, folded ears are a genetic mutation that would need to be coded somewhere in the cats DNA (most likely passed down from a non-clanborn cat). This mutation is called osteochondrodysplasia, or otherwise known as 'scottish fold disease', and is known for causing cats with the mutation severe bone, cartilage, and joint issues which obviously cause the affected cat lots of pain. So pretty much, if the Erin's wanted to add more cats with folded ears, they would need more kittypets joining the clan or said cats with the folded ears would need to have offspring, and even if those cats could produce enough offspring to make the folded ears a more recognized trait, it would cause them lots of pain and most likely lead to early retirement.

Although Sandstorm isn’t commonly associated with having a leaf in her fur, I have it for a special reason! I AU her father being Redtail, so the two of them would often visit the Med den to see her aunt Spottedleaf, who gave her some leaves to play with!
