SO glad to see all of this Joey and Rachel love here… I kind of thought I was alone thinking that these two were the best out of nowhere couple on television. They work together so insanely well and their chemistry was off the charts, and it does break my heart that they didn’t last till end! 💔

At first in the first season Ross and Rachel were cute yk him fantasising about her but at the end it was always joey who supported her and especially when she said "you are so cute" in the episode the one with the jam it was so cute 🥰❤😊

@@nolan.08 for the first time that the show start everyone know that Ros and Rachel belong together And the only reason that the show writers did that was because they didn't have a lot of TV viewing ok and just so you know when Mat le blank learnt that said that Joe would never do that

I think if the show was made today, Joey would be seen as the better guy. He's so sweet and caring and doesn't judge anyone. Ross on the other hand was whiny and annoying
Rachel and ross were not meant for each other....i liked her better with Joey but the writers just messed up the storyline. And one more thing S9 and S2 Rachel where two entirely different women if thats make any sense.
I think Ross and Rachel have a great history, they were an amazing couple to begin with, but the other part of their relationship is pure toxicity, meanwhile Joey did not say a single bad thing about rachel, he threw out foods that she couldn’t tolerate when she was pregnant, he was a pure gentlemen to her and I think they should’ve ended up together Another thought what if friends had a season 11 or something after the end of the show, showing what happened to everybody, I wonder what would happen to Ross and Rachel and if Joey found true love

That's because when ross said those things about her, she was kind of those things mentioned in the list. What joey got was a "10 years later version of Rachel" , more caring, a nicer friend and everything she was not 10 years ago...so if joey hasn't got anything it makes sense.
But logically thing about it.. Except for the looks, what was really the problem?? Her being “ditzy” wouldn’t have been a problem for Joey because he’s kind of ditzy himself.. And for a “ditzy” girl, she left her home so she wouldn’t marry someone she doesn’t love knowing that she would have to take care of herself.. She did that!! Ofc she’s not gonna start off with the best job so Idek why waitressing was a red flag.. And why is being spoiled a red flag? Some people can’t help with how they grew up.. I can’t really say much about her being into her looks but you gotta know that that’s the only reason why Ross liked her in the first place
Well, Joey and Rachel were roomates for a long time and usually people who are that close as friends and roomates start noticing every little "annoying" details about each other and may even secretly judge too, despite loving each other as friends. But Joey not finding anything bad about her shows that he is not a nitpicky or judgy guy

This is exactly why Joey deserved her more than Ross. I don't know why people still support Ross and Rachel. As what I see, it kind of reflect reality. People usually prefer a relationship full of destruction, conflicts and toxicity more than a healthy and peaceful one.
I gwt the message, BUT. You have to understand one thing. This isn't about Ross being petty about all of the things he wrote down, this is about him acknowledging her bad sides that nevertheless don't stop him from loving her just as much as he would without those. And about Joey being so into Rachel at the time he couldn't see her bad sides. Also, Rachel was a way better person at the time of Joey's list P.s. That was definitely the point. And it's perfectly clear when he made Julie's "list." The list was supposed to be negative so he could be honest with himself. Rarely does the perfect couple "on paper" make the best couple. His heart already knew, he loved Rachel and no one else would do. Julie was "not Rachel." I'm not a Ross fan, and I liked Joey and Rachel, too. But there was a fit with Ross and Rachel that was never going to go away. They just needed some years. Ross to figure out what he wanted out of love after Carol, and Rachel to grow into her own (it's hard to become a different person than your family expects of you.)

I mean, there's jyst a bone to pick for me with people who refuse to acknoweledge what the actual storyline is about (like, seriously, there's a joke I once made, something along the "you can for sure ship the rope and the soap together as hard as you like, but we all know the canon is the rope and the stool" line. I do see why people ship patticular ships most of the time and at times I'm shook by the idea itself, with Joey abd Rachel I loved their interactions as an almost couple, but we all knew it was never gonna happen

I like how they miss the part where it was more joeys idea for a list, also joeys contribution to the list, when ross 'sort of' cheated on rachel joey told ross not to tell her, it was joey who implanted the idea in ross' head that rachel was going to cheat on him with mark and he told ross to go visit rachel at work, even tho joey is one of my faviourite characters anyone with a brain can tell that each time ross did something to mess up the relationship it was pretty much always from consulting with joey and chandler. Plus this comment section keeps talking about how the writers made a huge mistake putting rachel and ross together in the end but even tho that may have made a couple fans annoyed trust me 99% of fans would have been outraged if in the end rachel got with joey and not ross, the end would most likely be considered as one of the worst show endings of all time.
Of all the characters in the show, it was Ross I hated the most. I have no idea why the writers kept gunning for a Ross and Rachel "ending" when the perfect couple was Chandler and Monica - especially since those two have a SANE and healthy relationship. Joey and Rachel as acouple would have been a good close second best because they were never toxic to each other. I've known couples like Ross and Rachel - and they would never work out realistically - couples like them would always end up in acrimonious divorces.
Mmm, idk about better. Ross was always going the extra mile for Rachel. We got to see Ross & Rachel in a relationship through the years. With Joey we only saw how it was for a cpl of days/weeks. The honeymoon state

Joey and rachel wouldve made a lovely pair. They couldve finally given joey a break, had him grow up a bit, he was a lovely with emma and sweet with rachel but ofc it had to be ross🙄

you do realize ross actually was already with her and knows how to be in a relationship with her, which Joey doesn't at this point. You don't love everything about your partner and Ross is right about what he says. Joey has a crush, Ross actually loves her despite her faults.
Ross didn't want to list those things. And she was really not that serious when she left her marriage, she didn't know to take responsibility. Ross did one mistake which has resulted in his break up . But he treated Rachel well , he put a lot of efforts in his relationship to the extent that even Rachel got irritated . And people can't deny that . If the situation would not have been like that , Ross and Rachel would have been a good couple. They became toxic after their break up.
Brooo when you only put the bad things that Ross did yeah he looks bad but when you actually compare the good things Ross did and the good things Joey did Ross and Rachel were a better couple!!! Plus I think that phoebe and Joey belong together

Joey and Rachel forever I don’t care how the show goes in my mind Joey and Rachel get married and seen the rest of their lives together I just love them together their the best friends couple that ever happened but Ross just need to ruin everything.
What people don’t understand is that Joey and Ross made lists at completely different times, almost five season apart from each other and Rachel is the character with the most development of the six friends. Think about it. She started off as a brat, spoiled rich girl and progressed to being a career driven, ambitious, single mother who still managed to look nice, take care of herself, and be successful. Plus, she was a lot more nice towards people and a lot less selfish, and that’s the woman Joey fell in love with. There’s a reason he was so hung up on her during that time. But Ross, he loved her literally from the beginning. When she was a spoiled little rich girl brat. He loved her then and he loved her when she became a successful single mother and generally a better person. He never stopped loving her. Ross had to think of bad stuff because he had to make a choice. Joey didn’t have to make any choices. He tried to get over her for Ross. If he was dating someone else and had to decide which girl he loved, he could have done the same thing. No one knows because there was no situation like that. That’s why Ross is not a bad person for Rachel and I don’t think they’re toxic at all. They’re just different from a normal relationship. The truth is that they’re in love with each other, but they just kept missing each other or something kept happening and it kept them apart. Joey was also good for Rachel, but he didn’t love her at her worst. That’s the real difference between them.
The fact that someone makes a list of your flaws doesn't mean they don't love you, and if it does for you then you have a lot to learn about love. Your flaws are also part of you wether you like it or not. And they don't disappear by pushing them under a carpet and pretending they don't exist
I love joey...but you know joey and rachel they were like a chaotic duo...I love their friendship than their love...although rachel didn't love him she have been going through her pregnancy dating dilemma....their dating gives me a weird vibe....I always ship rachel with ross.. they were the best...they deserved a lot more time in their dating world...so we could've see their marriage...😭👊 I ship pheobe and joey together..they were iconic..they should've been an endgame..
It still baffles me to this day that Rachel didn't get her happy ending with Joey. Furthermore, she has gotten off the plane for Ross. And we know Ross, there is no way in hell that he even considers going to Paris with Rachel.
I have always said that Rachel deserved better then Ross he treated her horribly I must have been the only one not cheering when they got back together
