🍚 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: In Magdalena, Philippines, Bungkol Elementary School serves daily meals, provided by Rise Against Hunger Philippines, to its students. Volunteer cooks prepare the nutritious meals, enriching them with vegetables from the school’s robust garden, which the school was inspired to start after seeing Rise Against Hunger Philippines’ nearby Good Food Farm.
📚 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: The feeding program ensures 282 students’ nutritional needs and education are supported! The meals have helped the students gain weight and improved attendance and academic performance.
