In Stephen King’s horror story ‘It’, a group of misfits come together as friends in the face of troubles at home and bullies on the streets, as well as an older, darker and even more terrifying force that is preying on children in their town.
In this scene, from the 1990 TV miniseries, Michael is trying to escape the vicious Henry Bowers and his gang, and runs into another group who are also targets of Bowers. Together, the group are able to challenge the gang and fend them off, and afterwards invite Michael to join their group, calling themselves the Losers’ Club, the name given them by their bully.
