Enchant demonmachine sorc has been one of my favorite characters even before 2.6 patch. I collected ravenclaw bows, with 7 of them i help other players level in tombs or cows. This way everyone could experience the fun i was having.
Something I've noticed lots of people forget is that you can make a CTA in a staff, so finding a 3ES 5 soc staff will give you a level 5 energy shield while also having access to BO. Even better if you get ice or shiver armor rolled onto it or static field, teleport ect. this makes swapping to your eschutas or 6 enchant orb that much easier whole still maintaining a nice ES level.
I love the authenticity! Would that we could all have this experience! A build that you feel like you kind of discover and make work that's not overplayed. Discovering the joy of what diablo was for me and is supposed to be.
Before the patch I would run an enchanted bow conviction(lvl25) paladin with almost similar results but that required 2 accounts laptop & PC. It's refreshing to play with only a Sorc now.
I live in Connecticut and have family from Boston to the extent that as a kid I thought “draw” was a synonym for “drawer” in addition to the artistic meaning before learning to read, yet this is the first time I’ve heard “Bo-toxic” lol. Great video; it’s a very strong and different-from-meta character and also a fun story of you and the character growing together in a way. Appreciate the educational content. @@MacroBioBoi I'm actually growing in appreciation for the Great Helm aesthetic. I made my "temper" this season in one because it felt fitting, and the more I think about it the more I think Flickering Flame fits with it as well.
Most fun build I ever had is a Demon Arch Zealot paladin. When he attacks he looks like a an amazon using jab. I had Dragon Armor on him. Exile Vortex. He uses lava gout gloves for enchant, angelics, gore rider + guillaume face. Fana aura. Mercenary with infinity and might aura. Spawning all those hydras while attacking like a amazon. that is so fun way to use zeal.
Seeing how much fun you have had with the enchant sorc makes me wonder something. If they would give thunderstorm lightning damage on striking could take this to the next level without infinty.

I all way's put static up fairly highs on my starter orb builds. LOL I have never made a infinity and cant remember on enigma.. This looks so much fun and you can See it is for you! Great work put Into this Would a Brand runeword also work nicely or is the speed an issue and lesser chance to pierce taking away too much dmg?
i REALLY dislike when people use a character editor or mods to showcase a build. a person may know their stuff but if your creating educational videos on a build, BUILDING the build and having knowledge of what it takes (what it feels like) to get to that final point is crucial. If i had one thing i could change with content around builds is that in order to showcase it, you have to create it. no shortcuts.
Yeah that sounds like a really personal thing and gatekeeps anyone who doesn't have the same amount of time as you from participating in shared spaces.
You've got to consider that back In the day d2 actually had trade channels that were used. They didn't implement anything for D2r.. So outsourcing a place to trade only makes sense.

IMO the only way to make CHAM and ZOD reach its true value, is not by making some OP runewords (although none of the CHAM runewords is really comparable with Enigma or Infinity or even Fortitude / Grief), but instead they should implement a cube recepy for breaking CHAM into previous rune. Imagine breaking CHAM into 2 JAH rune and 2 JAH can further be broke into 4 BER runes (and so on). That indeed will make CHAM trully valuable as it supposed to be since its 4 times more rare than BER and approx 2 times more rare than JAH. It hurts my eyes to see trades making JAH more cheap than BER when it is twice as rare as BER.
I've made a number of infinities and I NEVER realized that it also greatly reduces monsters defense... This is huge!! Does it ever make sense to use and infinity on a whirlwind/zealer/multi/strafe character? It seems like it would be a massive boost to your chance to hit, maybe even averaging out to more DPS then pride? Idk, I wanna find out though.
This looks like a great build. I miss the days of the bugged enchant sorcs. This build is a bit of a nod to that time in the game. Last season I gambled a coronet that could be bonkers on your enchantress. 2 sorc skills, 23 str, 20 all res, visionary mod, 9 life replenish.
Well done! You deserve it! Especially since you're going to crush yourself trying to pacifistically beat the game tomorrow... At least you have this major accomplishment this week too, as another feather in your cap because you're totally going to crush it tomorrow!
Def enjoy this type of content. Way more relatable to the play experience of the masses. It’s fun to see super min max potential as part of a breakdown but I would prefer that as a small portion of an overall build guide
I've been struggling making it past demon machine, razortail, and some bits and pieces, currently using a ptopaz tarn 4socket topaz armor, 2 nagels, anni, 3 fire skills ammy and random mf stuff. I can do nm cows easy, but not much else. 😭
Hell yeah brother am using a grand crown FF as we speak 🙂 100% peak aesthetic. I also really love winged helm, and tiara and diadem are pretty cute as well. BV and demonhead are FINE, but nah.
good call with the crown. bone head looks kinda wack in remastered imo I also have the currency for infinity for the first time but I'm actually too cheap to spend it... players 8 in pub games is too annoying/ inconsistent for me. and its just not really worth it for p1, is it?
What's the priority in gear, is infinity more important than a fortitude for my merc or improved amulet/rings/more skillers/res charms? Not sure what to do with my currency now.
Just imagine how much more fun this build can be if something like self-repairing arrows and bolts existed. Its main reason why i hate to play any bow/cb builds.
Use flawless,normal gems and chipped gems to roll your own magic orbs. I have had more luck with that then I have using pgems. This way you can gaurentee sockets on the items
can someone explain why people say "we dropped this item" or "i dropped this loot" when actually the monster dropped the loot? the dictonairy isn't really helping me here.
Is there a credible website to check item prices in terms of runes? I'm new and have stuff i think is worth something but i never trade cause i don't understand how to figure out a reasonable price
Loved the journey. Really is the most fun, left of centre S-tier build. Been playing on-off for 20 years and never had so much fun. I'm just 1 infinity and skillers/rings away, but got all the other gear SSF/traded for (torch/FF/35VM, etc, Andy's). Can't thank you enough!!! Also got to go with the demon head. Do I make you horny baby?!
Other chars: having 3 trees, have 3 or 4 builds which succeed in hell Sorc, Pal: each skill makes a build and every one of them rolls. And notice how expensive for a Ber rune today at like 3rd week into new season, still.
@@MacroBioBoi Would like to know what 9 builds Druid has. Wind, fire, summon, rabies, fire claw, maul bear, ok, let me know more. And how many can compare to for example tesladin or what you mentioned here, enchant sorc, even with high end gears? Can for example whirl barb or gold find barb clears 8pp easily?
Havent had time to even start new season but always enjoy your vids. Every once in a while gets a bit too technical but I hope your very successful feel like your take and input is important in a game like d2.
Nope, that's how it always worked. Except the cleansing aura won't always be active because the merc can't always supply more than 2 aura's as buffs. I cover the cleansing aura synergies in my Runeword review video. Nothing new.
My only problem about this build, is that it's very hard to stack mf, maybe I'm doing something wrong but I'm loosing thousands of dmg for a little bit of mf. So I stuck farming cows and hoping for GG bases or hr drops. Nothing of the sort yet
I had easily over 200 magic find without losing damage. Tal's armor and a gheeds alone is enough for most scenarios. Also easy to fit on the ring and boots.

I am looking to build one for my offline ssf game and got 2 questions: - i was thinking to use kuko instead of demon machine to get 9f coz 11f is uncomfortable for me, keen to know your thought on the trade off? - with only sunder, flickering flame and infinity, I'm afraid the -fr isn't strong enough to farm 8pp?
You need to sacrifice so much of your damage and FCR to reach 9 frame with Kuko that it's not worth it. Then it still have bad pierce chance in comparison. It's strictly worse in every way.
Last ladder, I was surprised how fast I got my infinity with no trading at all. By week 3 I had an infinity and enigma solo self found. Only downside is I was playing 8+ hours a day lol
