For those struggling to get this trophy, you're not alone! It can be very luck dependent relative to your experience. After hours of dying and/or getting the ghost wrong, the game gave me a deogen (a ghost who has a lower chasing speed) with smudge objectives. Hunt began with a close ghost spawn right when I entered the front door, so I kited the deo around the chapel while smudging and taking photos, then I immediately left. Total time spent was 3 minutes and 8 seconds. No skill, just pure luck. So please know that there can be incredibly easy objective rolls (especially with a deo), and that sometimes luck helps an incredible amount. As I am aggressively horrible at this game, I would not have completed this if I hadn't got a deo and simple objectives. Good luck, hunters!
I got 3 pretty difficult objectives "event, get away with smudge, stop hunt crucifix" and I got a 1/4 toss up between Obake, mare, poltergeist, and yurei. I managed to get all objects but didn't get the 1/4. Seeing this makes me hopeful that I can get the trophy!
i died 3 times to a Deogen , i thought it was impossible first 2 times i didnt see it, 3rd time i saw how slow it is and and 4th time i checked my theory and yea totally easy... Took me in total around 90 tried... and around 23 hours... and i survived 11 times... everytime wrong ghost mostly cuz the ghost didnt act as itself. But on first half of challenge i couldnt do crucifix... EMF or anything, now i can do them pretty easy. So i did become better which im glad. (also the nightmares now is really easy for me) Edit: But i cant remember every bad RNG i had... either i knew everything and ghost would kill me cuz by miracle they found me or last objective and got me in a bad moment.
Lmao, I got a trapped Moroi that couldn't leave the chapel when it hunted. Because it sounded wicked fast, I deduced the selections to Thaye, Moroi, Hantu, or The Twins. Because there was no audible change in foot steps each time it hunted, I narrowed it down to Moroi and Hantu. Again, because it was stuck, I was able to examine it up close to check for freezing breath. I never saw it's breath, so I ended up choosing Moroi and got it correct. It's definitely luck based. Depends on Ghost Location, Objectives, and getting obvious Ghost Characteristics.
say what you want about the wraith, but my two all-time favorite insym videos (perfect solo asylum and this) had the salt trick coming in clutch and provided such a satisfying mix of game sense and luck
the wraith is my favorite ghost! when i first started playing i randomly got an emf 2 and was so confused i thought i had just missed an interaction or something, but then thinking back to insyms videos i realized and instaguessed wraith and got it on my third ever game!!
I finally beat the gold challenge the other day against a Wraith. My go to strat was to start by tossing two crucifixes through the front door along with smudge sticks and a camera, and then waiting behind one of the L-shaped corners just inside the entrance to see if the ghost ate one of the crucifixes - not just as a Wraith/Banshee/Phantom check, but to protect myself from entrance ghosts (I've been killed by a few during my Sunny Meadows gold challenge grind). Instead, it hunted some distance away. But as soon as the hunt was over, the ghost did a ghost event right in my face, allowing me to take the ghost photo. Immediately smudged it, and then moved one of the crucifixes into the hiding spot in the Warden's office along with another smudge. As the smudge timer ran out, the ghost once again hunted, this time from very far away, but after it was done and the hunt cooldown was over, it ate a chunk out of my crucifix, confirming that it was most likely a Wraith that had teleported right to me. Smudged it, left the building, circled Wraith in the book and left. My objectives were ghost event, ghost photo and candle - it blew out one of the candles in the chapel during the first hunt and I got the other two right after the first hunt. This was easily the most satisfying moment I've had in this game - I didn't start playing Phasmophobia until january 12 this year, and I only had around 130 hours played and 510ish levels (of which 350 were gained after the Apocalypse update) by the time I beat the gold challenge, so the only reason why it was possible was because of everything I've learned watching your streams. So thank you so much for helping me beat the gold challenge, Insym!
I'm really not a fan of this challenge. I'm certainly not trying to downplay anyone's experience and/or skill but so much of this is just RNG and luck.
I was disappointed to see this video was only 25 minutes long, but I was proven wrong. All of your knowledge was poured into this video, and I can say I learned so much more than I thought. Can't wait to try this for myself. I may refer to this video several times to really absorb everything.
@@kevin-7091 well Idk if it is possible (I'm not a Phasmophobia player but I do watch a lot of Phasmophobia videos by Insym). The thing we know about the Deogen is that you can't hide because he knows where you are but his speed is slowing down when he's getting closer to you so idk if you can outrun him without smudge + lowest speed set.
@@T4M1L0S you can barely outrun deogen in x24. For the "no smudges run" deo spawn must be far away in case he hunts when you are at the door. so you have time to go to the office and loop him there. I would hate this proposed "diamond skull", way too much rng involved. Gold skull is already pushing it. I was lucky to get a deogen for my gold skull, i also died to reception banshees 2 times. edit: also keep in mind you can no longer do smudge objetives wich are the easy ones(i mean i rerolled if i had to smudge ghost room, but you have to take a ghost photo during a hunt, so for any other ghost you must smudge him to escape wich is an objetive).

On my second try i got a Deo, had smudge during hunt, escape hunt and motion sensor. I couldnt believe my eyes when i looped him in the office (first time looping) and got all the checks, my heart was beating like crazy when i took the photo and waddled slow af to the entrance to gtfo. I dont want to show of with this but i am so damn happy to have these 3 trophies!

When I finally got this after like 4 hours of trying, I was deep into the left wing and had a normal speed ghost and almost admitted defeat because I had no idea how to identify, that's when I noticed after I had smudged it, it was quite a while before it hunted again. So, I did a few spirit tests just to be sure and lo and behold, we had a spirit and all I had to do was leave while deep in the asylum with no smudges left. I couldn't stop staring at my gold trophy because I was so certain I would not be able to get it
Insym, I just wanted to let you know that I too used the very niche knowledge you taught us about salt during a hunt in my 24x run with a deogen. I had a salt objective and the deo's room was far enough away that it would have been unlikely I could make it to the ghost room before getting hunted. I successfully completed the run and without that bit of knowledge, I'm not sure I would have known how to get that objective done. Big thank you to you for my gold trophy!
@@MM-fx7eb all ghost can't interact with salt during a hunt, but if the ghost stops hunting on top of salt, there's a brief window where it will be able to walk on it. What the OP did is get the Deo to end its hunt on top of a salt. You can do this with other ghost too, but Deo is the easiest because it always know where you are, waste no time getting close to you, then proceed to procrastinate at the last second to absurd level.
I got it at 273 hours! Thanks to watching all your videos and learning the game, i managed to get this last night :D The ghost was a Wraith as well. Its very nice having it Tele to you so you can complete objectives and confirm it with the salt and UV light. I got 3 Banshees IN A ROW before i got this Wraith and got the trophy. @_@
I got absolutely bamboozled last night. Smudged the ghost and it didn't hunt for 3 minutes. Was like, "oh yeah, this is a spirit". Put it in the book and leave, turns out it was a Myling 😔. Such an unlucky coincidence. P.S (sanity was 0, and I had a timer)
Just a thought - A mare would definitely be difficult to rule out on 24x, but if I am not mistaken, they can't turn on lights. Even though the fuse box is broken, a mare still can't flick a light switch, right? So, if you hear/see a flipped light switch, then it isn't a mare?

When I was doing this challenge I got the get a ghost to blow out a candle objective before I even unlocked the front door and I immediately knew it was in the chapel. I didn't know the ghost could start doing things when you haven't even entered the building!
The ghost is active and can move about. It cannot hunt or attack in any way, and certain tells like freezing temps do not work. It is entirely possible using glitches to get in the house without unlocking the door to die still, if you use cursed items. Otherwise it won't hunt. But yes, the ghost is entirely active as soon as you load in. There are just certain things that are locked behind the action of the door opening / getting unlocked.
It took me 5 times to try, the first time I was confused by the ghost speed (guessing demon then jinn but it was a demon), died by a spirit (guessing it right but died), then the ghostphoto didn‘t count (it was a yokai and i got everything but had no smudgies left for taking the photo again), died by a mare and finally beat it with a moroi🎉 I am so happy I made it🤩 it is also a bit because I‘ve learnd so much from Insym‘s videos so thanks to you!😉
Congratulations on the gold trophy, man! I did all the trophies individually, too! Bronze was Phantom, Silver was a Hantu (and yes it's a pain in the ass to get the photo), and Mimic for my Gold.
@@nnk9305 It was on my tail the whole hunt, I thought I was gonna die. But I lived, twice. I was panicking because it was pitch black for the hunt and I knew if I got stuck on anything for a second, I would die.
My biggest obstacle against this challenge is how low my FPS gets in this map, especially when stuff is about to go down As soon as the ghost enters the room I'm in, I smudge it and try to take the photo, my game runs at 2 FPS

You got so lucky with so many things, but I guess that's the nature of this challenge. More than half the time when I try this challenge, I don't get doable objectives. And when I do get doable objectives, still more than half the time, the ghost is really far away from the entrance and never comes near it, until I step out to go look for it, in which case I die. I've recently started making the chapel my base of operations. There's an amazing hiding spot there at the corner next to the piano that's always available (I've had the ghost walk to that hiding spot to the point where I can see it, but then it turned around and left). The chapel also gives me a good position to lure the ghost from a wider area. I'm hoping to get lucky to have a Deogen be the ghost, because I can loop it in the chapel and have all the time to do the objectives and take a photo.
I just got all three of these after 8.5 hours. To be fair, I was a level 92 when I started it so I had all tier III equipment. My first was a deo, second banshee, third rev-- so the no evidence was easy (thank god). This map is scary as fuck lmao.
Replying to this video after I watched it, and gave myself the courage to try and do it myself. On my third attempt, first attempt where the ghost was close (in the main entrance) it was luckily a moroi who was very active. Got an easy picture for the objective and photo and then just had to place a motion sensor down and a crucifix. The challenge is completely RNG but I was lucky enough to get possibly the best ghost for the challenge due to the 12 second smudge
so can someone explain this wraith salt thing to me. was is still when the wraith stepped in salt but didnt leave footsteps or what is the science behind it. i dont get this
Wraith won't step in salt mate... Means if u put a salt over the ground along with motion sensor if u see that motion sensor got triggered u can find the footprints of the ghost in that salt but if it's a wraith u can't find those footprints in the salt
After getting this trophy on my first try i can say that it's pretty much a "get lucky" kind of trophy i mean i threw almost everything useful in the asylum the ghost didn't really do much for the first few seconds so i got enough time to set up a small base at the front door i placed a motion sensor on the wall which triggered after like 3 seconds so i immediately knew it was a teleporting ghost, one of my crucifixes stopped the hunt after which i immediately smudged the ghost, i put down salt the ghost walked through it i saw no footprints with my glowsticks then i panicked for like 20 seconds not knowing what to do with this information i smudged the ghost again just to give myself more time to think (but i don't think the smudge even hit it) then i picked up one of my last two smudges, i ran to the closet but a hunt started right as i got to the door, i smudged the ghost when it saw me, spammed my photos, ran to the closet and hoped for the best i got the ghost photo i got all 3 objectives and the second the hunt ended i just ran out the mission took less than 10 minutes i got hunted only once and i got all 3 trophies at the same time the only good play i've made during that entire mission was the fact that i figured out the ghost type based on the teleportation. i could've done so many things better and yet im one of the few people in the world who can say that i got 24x on the very first try even tho it was completely undeserved imo
How.. how did a 24x wraith to give so many back-to-back events, especially without smudging it??? I've wasted soooooo much time waiting for events😆 so grateful for my 24x Deo but those events got me jelly. 24x is such an RNG clown fiesta
@@MaximumCOOK I've tried it, i was scared about that, but i don't know how it's still slower than you. Surely every hunt you need to smug it, pass thoroght it than run away and loop. The best place to loop it is chapel so you have got light to get easy photo.

I nearly did this the other day, I knew it was a wraith, I knew where it was, I had everything, was about to leave...... and he simultaneously warped on top of me, and hunted. So I instantly died behind the bookcase you normally hide behind .
I was confused the other day, we did a yo Kai test to get a photo and it had hunted twice and didn’t find us the Third hunt it found us by what we thought was chance. But nope, was a demon and we felt scammed. Seriously we had our flash lights on and shouted at the ghost during the hunt and it just kept running back and fourth down the hall just ignoring us. Edit: we also had a ghost photo that had no glitching and I thought that meant it was a phantom, apparently that was also wrong somehow.
Congrats on the golden trophy, this challenge is absolutely insane lol I managed to do it once and it was so scary I had a wraith and I thought the room was near the entrance so I placed salt in the doorway to downstairs for the objective, but turns out the ghost room was a bit further away. I eventually went in without a smudge stick, I already used all of them. I did hold a crucifix though When I stood on the salt the wraith did it's 16th ability so I got out of there very quickly (yes 16 abilities) I'm so glad I managed to do it :D
I completed the 24x challenge but one of my runs it was a wraith and all i needed to do was let it hunt one more time before i could leave, then it wraith teleported and hunted right on top of me
I went all out and tried for the gold trophy right away, and I, by pure luck and protected by my prayers to god, somehow got the trophy first try after being harrassed by a Wraith that used its ability 11 times within 25 min. It was so nerve-wracking, but I'm so glad that Insym puts out so many of these videos and showcases his tips and tricks. That was the only way I survived because I ended up trapped in the same room he was in, then I was trapped in the entryway. 😂 Now that I watched him do the challenge, I'm genuinely jealous that he got a Wraith that didn't use up all his crucifixes and smudges with a vengeance...
Congrats! I have to share my successful gold trophy experience since it is largely thanks to watching Insym that it was possible (and I don't have anyone else to share it with). I think it was my seventh attempt (minus restarts to get decent objectives) and unlike the rest it was never coming near the middle so I thought maybe it was slow (rev). Using the paramic during the hunt I could tell it was in the right wing and I ventured in... a few doors past the locking door I heard it... I still couldn't tell them apart at that time but I knew it was a thaye or moroi... The ghost photo was next, I was too terrified to be able to pay attention to the acceleration, smudge and take a photo but I was going to try and... I fumbled it. As I slowly crawled into a room the ghost was stamping around me at supersonic speeds and I thought I was doomed, I had to be doomed it was way more than six seconds. Then I survived... and it hit me... the smudge repel was super-effective!, it's a moroi!. Got the photo next attempt. I was still terrified so I didn't notice the acceleration but in retrospect I think it did. I almost had the ghost type three times prior as well. First was a courtyard shade that moved to the main corridor. After only 3 hunts in 40 minutes due to my standing in the ghost room entrance (the corridor is massive), I had to go afk a few minutes and I came back to being strangled. Literally killed by boredom... The next two I knew were wraith/shade/phantom/banshee as they hunted from miles away then a few moments later were touching doors near me in the chapel. The banshee and phantom killed me as I made errors getting objectives and the ghost photo. I was level 70 when this patch dropped. I got the bronze and silver before gold, plus a few other games, so I was about level 200 when I did my gold run. I'm pretty bad so anyone can do these if they try. Don't be afraid! I have watched a lot of Insym though which is the main reason I could complete this challenge. Thanks Insym for your dedication to producing content! I also did the slow safe strat for bronze/ silver and had Jinn both times. I hung out with both of them in their ghost room with my trusty candle for about 45 minutes in total without any hunts so I can safely confirm that the Jinn has none of its abilities when the breaker is broken. P.S. The moroi always ran away from the centre for some reason. I think it did 27 or 28 hunts and it never came within earshot of the chapel even though I heard it turn on the taps just a few doors down the corridor (no, I didn't go and get the dirty water pic). Considering the distance it was travelling, this really confused me.
Hey insym! Congrats! I’ve been trying to beat this challenge ever since it came out! I’ve been really close several times, the closest i got was ghost photo and all objectives, just got the ghost wrong! Soon I’ll be beating it as well! >:)
I think he said something about if the Ghost ends his hunt in the middle of salt, theres a chance it leaves a footstep... I guess it was a bug and idk if it has been fixed yet... Probably
