I think in their hololive app, if someone joins your stream room, the avatar appears in the stream. Just like when Haachama avatar suddenly appeared in Aqua/Marine's stream by mistake terrifying Aqua

The idea your OBS can be "Invaded" is such an organic aspect, Wawa even pushed it to the point of reducing her Live 2D's size to mimic actual perspective.

So, this is without knowledge of the app itself, but in OBS you get your model displayed by capturing your program as a source. From what we've seen before, their model program communicates across the internet, so if you work with someone you can project your model data to each other's programs, which is within the same source. We've seen them have multiple instances of the program source, where one instance crops to just their own model, and another crops just their guest's model, but you can theoretically have them within the same instance side-by-side. You have control of your own model's scaling, regardless of if it's on your end or the person you're casting it to, so you can alter it without them needing to do so for you. Their models just exist within the same canvas, the model owner is who controls sizing and placement on that canvas for the most part. Tl;dr, Kiara's playing around in the bounds of the program they both use for these models, it just so happens that Calli was in a situation where Kiara could cast her model to Calli. It's all the same program source as far as OBS cares, since all OBS has to do is capture the program Calli's model is on.

I guess since this is a collab game, Calli has already set up her OBS so that Myth members' model would appear once they're online. And the default location of Kiara's avatar on Calli's stream happened to be the same as Calli's (behind her), so Kiara used the opportunity to prank.

@@c.c1537 This is the correct answer, it actually has nothing to do with OBS other than Calli sending her footage of her HoloApp to OBS as a video source, if you want an idea of how Kiara was doing this its the same basic principle as Vtube Studios "multiplayer collab" function, but I guess Holo's is a little looser in how rooms work because it's a proprietary app and they don't have to worry about malicious trolling, just good natured pranks
