It took me 4 hours to get on Runaway Railway... Was it Worth The Wait??

I went to Disneyland on an early Sunday morning with the specific goal of riding the newest ride... Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad. I took the monorail into the park and spent $18 for an individual lightning lane... for 11:35am! I took a spin on Small World first, where I somehow ended up alone on my own boat! When I went to ride the runaway railroad, right when I got up to the end of the line -- it SHUT DOWN!!!! I went for lunch at the Harbor Galley and circled back around by riding the Disneyland train -- only to have it SHUT DOWN again!! Finally, 3rd time was a charm and I was able to get on and ride the ride... and IT WAS SO WORTH IT! Cute... cute... CUTIE! :)

It’s awesome but not 4 hours awesome. I’d wait 45 mins at most. Luckily the cue is awesome.

I kinda agree… I was soooo tired by the time I could actually ride it. The cue does help tho .. have you gone on the Star Wars ride? I once waited like 3 hours for that and actually thought it was worth it 🤷‍♀️

@@TheErinSpace I have been on that Star Wars ride in WDW and it was the best easily I have ever been on. I was lucky with only a 2 hour wait but I would wait 3 hours for that. I found the cue to be magnificent. Also love Flight of Passage and could wait 3 hours for that ride with that really awesome cue. The two recent waits that were terrible were a 2 hour wait for Test Track and close to 2 hour wait for mine train. The cue for the Snow White train I found way more interesting than the actual ride.

I didn’t have to wait 4 hours to ride MMRR - for that amount of time I’d say PASS. We just waited over 2 hours for Radiator Springs Cars ride b/c we had out of town guests and they thought it was worth it. The previous day Rise was down😒 so they didn’t get a chance to go on it. But I’d wait 3 hours for Rise - it’s worth it. I think the only other ride I’d wait more than 2 hours for is Guardians of the Galaxy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Agree -- Rise and Guardians are my fave rides - worth waiting for for sure :)
