OMG. You got my little beaver statue! I was there in the morning and filled up my cart. I had it in my cart!!! Well I went to the bathroom and parked the cart and when I came out it was gone!! I was crying!! So many beautiful things gone!!! I just walked out with nothing. I was here from Texas as my son in law is in intensive care and just took a break. This was a bad day!

@@larkdavis6041 I'm in a couple of thrift store groups on FB. I've seen 2 or 3 past GW employees say that they do these things on purpose to ruin the items. I don't know why. One girl said she quit when she found out they were doing that. Unethical and it's gonna end up in the landfill. I bought a very old tin box and they taped over it with that clear tape. When I started to remove it the paint peeled. I also found a beautiful set of coasters in a box. They taped the box all the way around. I started to remove the tape and it was taking off the gold leaf. So I'm not gonna be able to sell it. I'll just keep it and display it at my home.

@@marydumois4242 you got that right. I no longer resell, but when I did I didn't buy a lot from goodwill. I found really great stuff in the trash. After yardsales stuff was cheap...Free. I found new/old stock, great lamps, vases, candle holders and my best find was some really nice jewelry. Now that I don't do eBay, long story, I have rooms full of stuff! I really need to have a yardsale!!! Or it's going to be on the curb!

Great decision to leave that cranberry vase. I the flower shop shop that's what we called a utility vase. It's a vase we would use on lower priced arrangements. I think if you can, I would grab that flower bear because the next holiday after Christmas is Valentine's Day. And that bear could sell for a lot more than 35.00. In a flower shop on Valentine's Day that bear would sell for 60.00+

When i pull up to the parking lot & see people coming out the door with carts heaped i say to myself, i wonder if they left me anything! I feel the same while i'm proceeding down the aisle close to the shelf & someone reaches over my cart & into my personal space.

I know what you mean about the crowds....Im the same way. We went grocery shopping yesterday & I kept begging my hubby if we could get it done early. He had to wait til' 2:30 to go shopping @ Smiths. Now its not the worst time to go, but it was super packed with holiday shoppers. At one point I froze. My hubby asked what I was doing & I said just give me & minute. He asked me for the first time ever 'is the crowds getting to you?' Yep, yep it is! I've learned to breathe through my anxiety...my medication helps a lot too. There were so many things that you picked up (& left) that I loved! The dragonfly creamer & suncatcher & that beautiful trivet are the ones that I can't stop thinking about. I definitely would have picked those up for myself. I can't wait to see what else there was. I would've loved to have been there shopping too. Except for the anxiety aspect. Happy thrifting!

OMG I love that kitchen timer. It's so cute. I get bad anxiety in crowds of people, or busy stores. Just before we are supposed to get hit with a blizzard, the store are so busy. It makes me crazy.

Understand your concern about shipping really fragile items like thin-walled vintage plastic or extremely delicate glass but a lot you discard shouldn’t be a problem. I’ve shipped hundreds of breakable items and have never once had an issue. It just takes a bit of “creativity” sometimes!

Hi Dani! So excited that the hardwares were not hit hard during the day. That also means there's more treasures out back to come. So you'll have to frequent this location for a while. I was a bit Shocked that the kiddos didn't want to come along on an epic treasure hunt. I know Jordan would have been there with bells on, or gummy bears 🐻 lol 😆 Counting down to the next episode cuz I know that cart was full on Friday night!

I'm happy this store opened. Ours here in the Bay are definitely not as nice. But occasionally have good deals. The GW "suits" made sure we know that a lot of work goes into donations to register. I agree. Hope the wages n benefits reflect that to those employees that make it happen Blessed n safe Thanksgiving all everyone.

The 4 different leaf dish set may be Williams Sonoma because I have a set of 4 colored glass leaf candle holders (same exact colors). Also, that fused glass dragonfly is one of the 4" collectable size pieces which sell well.

Danni - I have been trying to figure out how to contact you about getting the teapot (14:06) but I don't know how to - now that you are so successful an have dozens of channels - i feel like I've been left behind in a matter of a few weeks - I'm crying here. I'm 70 yrs old - when did that happen? I have bought a couple of things from you in the past but I don't remember how I got ahold of you (or Carrie) - I'm on SS and I figure I have less than a year before I can't afford even a loaf of bread in the store - I'm serious. The only saving grace is that I love the Lord and I know He will help me but I guess I am only able to watch you and your merry band of friends for a while longer - you guys are such a hoot to watch - I'm so glad you are so successful. I live in TN and I will tell you.....there is NO OTHER place like Las Vegas for the reseller market - I can't believe what you guys find in Good will stores - even on the worst days - incredible! As you listed the comps, I was playing along guessing the values, I was pretty accurate . Watching videos is fun and paying off so us buyers know if something is worth buying when we are out in the wild. That last bronze piece, what a great profit. Thanks for taking us to the new goodwill.

Those were real pine cones that have been lackerd and painted l have several of those pinecones that have never been lackerd or painted. The ones I have are at least 60 years old. They come from the giant sequoia (I think that's what my dad told me)

Behind you when you were in your car, I was watching the train of cars coming in to park..LOL Have fun!!! What time did they open for the 1st day? I think the wood hummingbird didn't have the pieces centered inside so it made it look wonky instead of being warped. I have a few of them and all it takes is one piece not aligned right. Did they have a 'counter' at the front door? Would be curious to see how many came the 1st day. Surprised, being the very 1st day that they don't line ALL the shelves for the cups/glasses/vases. They should have put in a line or two of colored glasses to offset all the clear; everything looks the same. Did they give out any coupons for 1st day? Loved the Indiana Tiara glass!! Kids have to be somewhere, just not at grand openings..LOL I agree paper should be stocked, but there's mno way they would have enough room to store boxes. VV in my area has paper at the checkout. Grand openings will always have crowds; no brainer. This is worth it though. My favorite were the mid century Nordic glasses.

Hola Danni , Mikey, Sonny ~ ..Danni you should have gotten the Sonic mug next to the Port Marion pieces they are ALWAYS out of stock and very popular i can never get one for my son he loves Sonic they sell for $26.99 at Wal Mart and $ 30. on Amazon. great find on the Beavers, the trivet is gorgeous and i love the nesting dolls they had fab colors. the kitchen timer was the cutest thing ever. There are some smaller made of plastic that you put Apple Cider Vinegar inside and they do call fruit flies to their death. I don't know if that big of one has that ability as I've never seen one that big.

I liked the large acorn candle holders, I would spray silver/white flock on the edges and knock it up a grade for at least. $30 each. But sadly you left it.
