One of the things that made the Peanuts specials and movies unique was their music Gurauldi was a very talented musician

Yet another good interview, Heath. And being a big Guaraldi fan, I am definitely stoked to get anything "new" from this wonderful jazz pianist. After your last interview with the Mendelson brothers, I made sure to buy a copy of Thanksgiving and have really enjoyed it. Guaraldi was definitely a gateway artist for me back in the day to discover and enjoy the wider world of jazz and all of its subgenres. I look forward to more interviews with these guys, and hopefully, more Guaraldi releases.

Great interview, Heath! I'm so excited for this because I tried to get the Record Store Day release, but I couldn't find it in person, and it was sold out everywhere online. I don't have a ton of vinyl~just soundtracks mostly. Can't wait to get this wide release!

I'm excited too! Yes, the RSD version sold out so fast--which is great--but it's wonderful news that everyone who wants a copy will have a chance to own it on July 5th.

I like Pebble Beach, too, but I think my favourite version is on the 'He's Your Dog, Charlie Brown' show, which, if I remember correctly, was a standard quintet type of band (the trio plus guiter & flute) and was a longer track than these and a similar tempo to the original recording on Guaraldi's mid-60s Fantasy LP. I very much hope that one day gets a release.
