Omer didn't really fight for Defne in season one. It's quite unfortunate it took him an entire year to realize he made a mistake and that he needed Defne in his life. I think his statement meant he was going to go all out and fight for her because she had his heart.

Great comments. There are some episodes that could have been dropped and the wedding drama and aftermath would have been great episodes to see instead.

Good comments. Omer is arrogant, and presumes that he can pick up where he left off and resume his life with Defne. He rejected Defne’s love and left her heartbroken and devastated. Remember Defne has already suffered when her father and mother left. Serda told Omer that because of their life experience they do not think that they are worthy of love. They are used to being rejected. Omer left her 3 times. After Serda and Nihan’s wedding, after the ring ceremony and then at the wedding. I understand he was also devastated and heartbroken, they both suffered. When Omer left Defne, she gave up on life, while he partied and slept around in Rome. As you said he did not reach out or contact Defne. I am surprised the storyline didn’t have Defne in a relationship when Omer came back into town. Pamir being the obvious choice of male suitor. Remember how jealous Omer was of any man’s interest in Defne. Sinan, and Dr Selim both had a thing for Defne. In episode 43 he told Dr Selim to stay away from Defne. 1 year is a long time to get your act together.

@@geraldineseale488 finally someone who agrees with me. Hurray!! Yes I would have loved to see her being with Pemir when Omer rolled into town. He needed to regret what he lost. Very few people point out that Omer was womanizing in Rome while Daphne almost died from heart break. I didn’t blame her family for being angry with her. Her going back to careless Omer made her look pathetic in my opinion. But we are stuck with un courageous writers who has to keep the girl pure even though she has had relations with Omer and he summarily dumped her to go off to Rome to have fun. Pero se enamoró de Defne y Ömer pudo demostrar su verdad .Ese es Pamir, ni de broma lo quiero ver con Defne , sin solasllar la forma tan sucia como Pamir manipular a Defne , cómo con la ayuda del hackers hacen una copia del libro que le regaló Ömer a Defne y le hace creer que el había comprado ese libro para ella .Es un mentiroso.

It’s either Defom OR Elbar

The series was filmed 2015-2017, 7-9 years ago. Maybe the producers would consider a season 3 with Defne, Omer and their families years later. Kiralik Ask won so many awards, no other Turkish dizi has ever been so successful. Maybe we should send a petition for a comeback of Defne and Omer ?

Omer’s in love with her. Love makes people do crazy things. Omer wasn’t perfect and completely honest with Defne either, yet he expected perfection and honesty from Defne.
