First time walking camping. It took 4 hours on foot and by local train to reach a campsite on the shores of Lake Biwa. Unfortunately it was raining so we holed up in a tent and enjoyed sukiyaki and local sake. Moreover, it was a very luxurious environment as I was the only guest staying there.
The total weight of the luggage was 41kg including the weight of the bags.
