It was NOT what I EXPECTED from this fishing session! 

I have not targeted garfish during this fishing session, so it was actually not what I expected, but it turned into catching garfish during this fishing trip. Initially, I wanted to fish sea trout at a new location but it did not go as supposed. There was a lot of seaweed in that location that stuck out from the water that made fishing really hard. Therefore, I decided to change location right away. I went to one of the other spots on the West coast of Sweden where I fished before and targeted sea tout. It was the first day of May, wind blowing from the East, rising tide. I knew that it could be completely dead with wind blowing from the East but lately, I had really nice fishing sessions with such conditions. Hundreds of casts and no sea trout caught but at the end, when I was about to give up, I managed to catch a garfish.
