When I was a kid I watched Eurovision with my parents. I remember the the skirts being pulled off by Buck’s Fizz and how we thought that was a bit risky at the time. how has our society fallen so far that this obscene performance is considered acceptable to young viewers or indeed to anyone. this show has absolutely nothing to do with songs!!

I remember Terry's comment 'the dance of the biscuit tin'. He was referring to a dance group. Terry was really funny as he described and made fun of it, in a nice way.

Yes. She came 1st place in the semi-final, and if you take away the 'jury rigging', technically came 2nd overall, with Croatia winning it (Switzerland came nowhere and UK rock bottom on 0 points, where it belongs). The jury vote doesn't count in my books.

I've seen Olly perform for the music slot on Graeme Norton chat show and he was good.

The fact that Israel only got 52 points from the jury but 323 points from the public, including 12 points from 14 countries, many of whom have very vociferous minorities who campaigned to have Israel banned from the contest altogether, and that the public vote would have had Israel in 2nd place, with the boy in a dress from Switzerland in 5th place, shows how corrupt the jury voting is, and how completely out of touch with the public taste.
