Man, I used to hate this guy in my youth. Arrogant, cocky, overconfident, a douchebag, a poser, model - not a footballer. I used to call him all of these. But as I grew up and matured I realized: He is all of these things, but he is even more. He is a worker. He is a talent. He is a winner. I realized that he can be as confident as he wants because, he deserves it with his hard work. So I stopped hating on him. From a hater I became a fan. I got amazed by his constant grind, his mindset and work. For me personally only few players influenced the modern game the most - Zidane, Romario, Luis Nazario de Lima Ronaldo and Cristiano Ronaldo. 3 of them had an amazing talent. But Cristiano surpasses them by never stopping. By being relentless in his work ethic. He is 38 now and seeing him on the bench is sad, but he still has the hunger and the motivation.
