Also logically if Itachi's unable to control space in the world of Tsukiyomi he wouldn't have been able to show Sasuke the things he did, it literally requires controlling of space for illusions. Kekkei genkai (血継限界, literally meaning: Bloodline Limit) are DNA anomalies that allow their wielders to use unique techniques. A kekkei genkai's name describes both the anomaly and the resulting technique. Most kekkei genkai are passed down between generations of a clan. Most individuals with kekkei genkai only inherit one kekkei genkai, however this is not always the case. Itachi didn't say Jiraiya is stronger than him. He said it wouldn't end well for either of them. Basically suggesting that it won't be an easy W and whoever wins would probably come away from the fight badly hurt.

Just because Itachi is considered "stronger" than Orochimaru and Jiraiya is viewed as "stronger" than Itachi, it doesn't necessarily mean that Jiraiya is stronger than Orochimaru. Every ninja has unique strengths and weaknesses depending on their opponent. Some battles require specific techniques and skills to achieve victory. Power levels vary because each ninja is different.

Yes. And their feelings towards their opponent could also be factor. Jiraiya still considers Orochimaru a friend that's why he cannot end his life.

The fact that the scene where Itachi says that Jiraiya is stronger than him is an adition from the animation studio that doesn't exist in the manga makes it safe to say that it makes no sense whatsoever, especially if you put in consideration that Jiraiya's fighting style is even more vulnerable to Itachi's techniques than Orochimaru's.

@@andre670luiz Well, we don't know the extent of Itachi's powers at that time, from what we see at first he is not very used to using either the mangekyo, amaterasu or his Tsukuyomi, we have no idea if he has the Susano at that point . On the other hand, the level of the Sannin back then was a completely different level. But yes, Itachi had other reasons for saying what he said about Jiraiya, I didn't comment on it so as not to spoil it for the guys who are watching it.

These guys need to seriously dampen their expectations. This isn't Jujutsu Kaisen or any other modern anime. This is an older Shonen. They weren't going for the whole "Hype Moment Every Episode Reaction on RU-vid" thing that modern anime does. It was a serial show. Not every episode is going to have a hype moment, and not every entrance is going to "OMG Insane". You're here for the story that is unfolding. If you stick with it, it will pay off.

we also call our elder siblings "elder brother" or "elder sister" in my country. (abi and abla is what we say instead of nii-san and nee-san.) it's the same culture as japan, and let me tell you, if my younger sister called me by my name i would scold her so bad. like i might even hit her if she keeps doing it, and would not talk to her about anything else unless she fixed it. i know anyone who cares for their younger sibling would be sad. it's the same as calling your parents by their names. it's so disrespectful and so distant and foreign. like you wouldn't call them by their names unless you had a falling out and want to treat them like a stranger. it's so weird. idk i couldn't bring myself to accept it if she started calling me by my name, she once said she'd forgotten i even have a name that's not abla lol. so it's just a cultural difference.

Kekkei Genkai == bloodline moves. So any special eyes, all that fun stuff that's unique to individuals is classified as a kekkei genkai in this verse. It's spotty af though, can sometimes have inconsistent rulesets.

The kekkei genkai is being born w/ an ability. Like sharingan is a kekkei genkai if someone is born with it. Kakashi doesn’t have the physical stamina to use it consistently bc he wasn’t born with it. That’s why he keeps it covered

If you rewatch the scene where the woman luring Jiraya is first introduced she notices something off and when it shows her POV you can see Itachi and Kisame on the bridge in the background. I love those kinds of details in shows.
