Great progress mate Can I ask how do you decant the glue to the little bottle that you use to fill the panel lines? Where do you get the little bottle with the nozzle Does it blocked by the CA?
@@PerisModels thanks 🙏 I just take the lid off and decant it. Amazon sells them by the 100 for £17. When it gets blocked you cans poke a wire down the nozzle or use a new one. I don’t use them that much other than for panel line removal 👍
Does the 120 grit sandpaper remove the plastic before getting on to the cyanoacrylate or equally? The coarsest paper I've ever used is 300. I really like your glue applicator but don't know where to obtain. I take you decant from the manufacturer bottle. Does the ca keep as well? Cant wait for the next installment. Cheers, Rhys
@@M.Parsons-p1y Hi Rhys. They get removed pretty much equally. 10ml bottles came from Amazon, the CA was decanted into them. The top bungs up quite quickly though
To salvage the applicator, just transfer the lid to an empty bottle and pull some acetone through it several times and that will rinse it out. Brilliant foil technique, sir! I'm not ready to do a whole aircraft but I can see it being useful for bare metal areas. The dream is to do the old Monogram 1/48 B-29, ha!
@@RichardsModellingAdventures If you don't have straight acetone, nail polish remover should work too as the major component is...acetone, at least in the "standard" kind.
