This song is all about the eternal waiting for someone; in the lyric the person is assuming that the entire nature is also feeling her absence as like as him. This song is written, composed and sung by Abbasuddin Ahmed. He was a Bengali folk song composer and singer born in the Bengal province of British India. He was known for "Bhawaiya" folk song; a particular style of songs found in Rangpur (North Bengal).
In Arnob part, he is missing his loved one so much and thinking about her all the time. The high pitch part that was sang by Ripon, he is wishing if his loved one could came to him as he is far away from her. The high pitch is actually a traditional Bangali Style. This is called "Bhawaiya " that is a type of folk music.
This bawiya 🎵 is from rangpur/ coachbehear district of North Bengal this song was written by late abbas uddin 1901 to 1959 . You can wikipedia his name! Greetings from London UK 🇬🇧.
You will understand better if you concentrate on the themes, rather than on the actual lyrics. Both of the songs is about longing for the loved ones. Both of the singers are away from their loved ones but expressing in a bit differently. Arnob is singing it from the urban perspective, where people are more restrained, they hold back their emotions. He is missing his loved one deeply but expressing it through metaphors only. He is reluctant to say it directly, or not sure how to say it. One of the line Arnob singing is "ei kothata kemne boli" which means "how can I tell her" (that I am missing her that much). Ripon is singing and wailing unrestrained. He is from the rural part of the country where they do not hold back in the name of civility. He is saying directly what he is feeling and asking his love to come back to him. No holds bar, so you can feel the emotion much more directly. Hope this helps.
