@@MostlyLoveOfMusic technically no. That is a specialized barber scissor, it is build for smoothness, endurance and sharpness to cut hair easily with very little force needed from the hand and fingers. These type of scissors aren't handed out for free on each corner of every street sherlock.
I’ve been watching this video over and over for years, and have seen it probably literally 600 times. It’s so relaxing to me because I like the sound of scissors. I just fast-forward and start viewing right after the B-52 bomber has been brought in for a landing. The other haircut videos don’t compare to this one. I love this “old school” haircut.
This is the type of fuss from our barber that all of us hope for, but very few get...this mature barber has got attention to detail and customer satisfaction down to a fine art...we need LOT more like him...
This video is getting a cult status following. It is ASMR heaven. I cannot imagine how good it must have been for the guy getting the haircut. Its the way he cuts at virtually nothing, but in such a way....

Mi ha ricordato molto quando ero piccolo. Andavo da un barbiere identico, silenzio, movimenti lenti e molto professionale. Era abbastanza anziano e purtroppo ora non c'è più. I barbieri "moderni" di oggi hanno un'altra classe in fatto di tagli ma il senso di relax che davano i vecchi barbieri non c'è più ormai.
He reminds me of why the job of a barber was so close to a doctor's; bloodletting, cutting and shaving were golden almost to surgery purposes. You had to possess critical skill and this guy has such a relaxing but critical skill...im struggling to sleep right now BUT this man is helping me big time. Love the sounds and the professionalism!
Thes barber skills are not seen nowaday...this video is pure gold..that barber killed it with the scissors and razor work. He made the taper fade with scissors and comb this is from other world mane.

I guess you haven't been to Dallas...old school barbershops with service like this from old timers to young bucks throwing out crazy fades. literally everywhere. The Old school shop that I go to has 2 other shops withing 2 blocks of eachother....

i wish there was no background noises like the cars and such, this would be the perfect asmr video. The sound of the scissors is perfect, take note asmr makers, that is how its suppose to sound.
Under certain points of view I like the background noises if they are not too loud and not intrusive, they help to create a more real atmosphere , but yes, to produce the "perfect video" the sound must be clean. Also for me, watching again the video,I have found the scissors sounds great, they triggered a lot of tingles. :) Thanks for your observation krlitos
Am I the only person that finds little small motors relaxing too lol like for example a vacuum , being used back and forth lmao. Like the sound of the clippers tbh.

What an amazing ASMR video. Up with Bob & Baba! Natural beats artificial every time. The angry buzzing actually provides a wonderful contrast to the soothing scissor-work. Top camera skills also.
Good short hairstyle, which suits you well. Perhaps you could fix your patchy beard by shaving most of it : keep only long sideburns and moustache, possibly some chin hair.
While it's always very relaxing when I'm in the chair, i never would have thought it would be so relaxing watching someone else get the business. As said further down, it is strangely addicting....... Thanks for the vids!

This is my FAVORITE of all your videos because it's the one with the most scissor over comb action.... The straight razor shaves are cool too but it would be AWESOME if you could do more haircuts with scissors...maybe you could get those guys to give you high fades with just the sheers! I completely agree with you +Wade Nelson the only issue is that as you can see I do not have to many hair :) Anyway thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to find more barber that use them even in my case :) (it will be very hard :) )
You seem to have plenty of hair my friend! (im a barber by the way lol) I bet those old school barbers you go to can use those scissors in a pretty amazing way. I watch this video nearly every night to help me relax and fall asleep :)
This is fantastic! It's great to see this skilled Italian barber cutting hair the traditional way. Love to see this kind of quality work.......Too bad there's not more like him. Would love to get a haircut there but I'd have to fly across the Atlantic to do it...... Cheers.........
the only thing that ruined it for me at first was the Buzzing sounds in the beginning. but once the Combing and scissor clippings came in. i was relaxed :)
Nikel Nuts he got really creepy and arrogant. I unsubscribed but still like this video and the other one where he gets a regular haircut. Now he just goes around getting messages in his speedo and exploiting Vietnamese women. He’s got an entourage and fills his videos with ads. He screwed over Baba and has become just another arrogant POS. I hope others follow and unsubscribe.
@@danimal6070 I don`t know if Massimo really is arrogant. Creepy... well, to a certain degree. But I also became sceptical when he travelled India with Baba and introduced his unnecessary line of grooming products. I guess nobody bought them, so he needed a compensation for the production costs of that stuff. That`s maybe when he introduced more ads. And his Vietnam travel was also boring. So, yes, I agree, he exceeded his climax long time ago.
