But you know sometimes, living in the country, you just start to perceive your country as boring, the "traditional dishes" just feel less full of flavor and colors beacouse you eat them everyday. As an Italian I actually forgot how beautiful can Italy be and when miss Mina posted this, it helped me remember that my country is beautiful and I don't have to go anywhere else to see beauty. Thanks for all u guys ♥️ (Even tho I love my county I miss traveling around the world to see new places and and cultures)

Miss Mina I recently discovered your video’s. You are fun, intelligent and interesting. But my heart melts watching your mama Mommy oh. She adds a quiet and thoughtful elegance. Sometimes you catch how lovingly your mom looks at you. I miss that because I recently lost my mom to Cancer. But it’s heartwarming to watch your adventures it reminds me of my own memories. Italy is so beautiful and the food is even better! Actually, the taste is much more fresh, a lot less salty, a lot less buttery, and a lot less creamy than the Italian food in the US. So so much better! I miss Italy and their food! 😋 Those cannoli are making me hungry. 🤤

The cannelloni shack is across from my old apt in Lake City. Bizarros is in Wallingford - excellent food! I went there on a dinner date in the late 80’s with the guy who’s 1st date with me involved a motorcycle accident. ❤️🙏🏻🕉🕊

Mina..i went on a small Europe trip a few years ago because i had a feeling something was going to happen. the very next year was when Notre Dame caught on fire. glad i got to see stuff before that happened. yes food in Italy was fresh, simple and tasty like u think it would be. my next favorite was France with their desserts. hopefully soon we can get back to traveling again. take care.

Note that in Italy garlic is not used that much at all. It's not an uncommon ingredient by any mean, but it's not like everything has garlic. At least 90% of the american italian dishes that have garlic don't have it in the traditional italian recipes. :)
