Thank you very much for the simplicity that you show your cooking. We need more of this happiness and love. You are great, thank you for existing. Love yoùuuuuuuuuuuuu
Thank you, Gina. Your grandson looks so happy. He knows he's about to eat a meal that is made with all the love in your heart for him and all of your family.
What a nice Granny! I love the way she mixes Italian and English. Obviously she lives in the states, the stove is really American. God bless you Mamma, stay healthy and full of energy. Greetings from Russia
🌿💐 Bravo, Bravo Grandma Gina !! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe with me. My son wants me to cook Liver and Onions but I've never made this dish. I knew that your recipe would be the best ! Liver ... Onions... and Love ❤️ God Bless you 🙏 and your family
She is a loving Italian woman! She reminds me of my Moroccan mother when she used to make a delicious healthy Moroccan chicken liver with olive 🫒 oil garlic and onions dish 😋
Just hearing your voice makes me smile. Your recipe is pretty much the way my Irish/German mother made liver and onions, with the exception of the pepperoncinis. I haven’t made liver and onions for myself for decades now, but you’ve inspired me to make this dish - your way with the perroncinis . Love and appreciation to you Grandma Gina!
We love your cooking and singing Gina! Oh the peace it brings! Thank you so much for blessing our family with your recipes! We are building many memories here with your food! May God bless you and your sweet family!!
Grandma Gina it's such a pleasure to see you again..I look forward to all your videos...this dish was my father's favorite!! Ty grandma for bringing back such a precious memory of my father to me.. may God bless you and keep you safe..
I didn't know that adding salt too soon would harden the liver. How important to know that! Thank you. This was very interesting, as the only Italian liver dish I know is with red wine and oregano.
Love this Lady! I just bought your cookbook, Gina & am going to have fun trying the recipes. Beautiful photos in the book of you and your loved ones. I've never done liver without dredging it in flour before - so look forward to doing this. I could listed to you say: "olive oil" - over and over! Thank you for sharing your wonderful culinary talents, good humour, lovely singing and for just being magnificent you! ♥
Dear Gina thank you for the recipes. They are not " a little thing". They are great recipes and you always inspire me and we can all feel the love you put in your cooking. I love liver and onions. Mmm.Please, keep sharing your "little things" 🙋♀️❤
You are a amazing woman. You bring back so many memories that I thought were forever forgotten. I love you cooking it’s amazing! Your truly blessed to have an amazing family.
Gina your recipe is so simple and looks delicious. It's the best liver and onion I have seen so far on youtube. I wish I could give you a big hug. You remind me so much of my own mother.God bless you and keeping posting more delicious recipies.
Love you Gina! Love liver and onions! You remind me of my Mother who passed away years ago. She looked and sounded just like you. Your kind heart shows in your cooking. Bravo Gina!
Blessed Grandma, you always give good hints to make food taste better. The liver really looks delicious and I will add peppers when I make liver again. Yum Yum. Grandson really enjoyed it, lucky to have you. Keep singing, stay healthy, God loves you and so do I. Thank you.
I was raised to batter my livers with salt and pepper and garlic powder. We put vegetable oil in the cast iron skillet and dip my seasoned liver in flour and put in the oil to fry lightly. Afterwards, I would pour most of the oil out add about 2 to 4 tB
It so hard 2 fine good liver in Florida. the live they sell here is soft n when u cook it turns into mush. Ty that's the way I always made mine in NY but with a lil white vinegar Ty God Bless
Thank you for this recipe, I love liver and onions! My mom passed away in April and liver and onions was one of my favorite things she cooked. Definitely making this soon, I've never tried liver with pepperoncini before. Thank you for inviting us into your kitchen and sharing with us. :)
I love this so much!! Grandma Gina you are a treasure!! My grandmother taught me to cook and when I watch you it brings back beautiful memories. I feel the love you put into your cooking. God Bless and thank you! ♥️
My mom cooked liver all the time. I’m not a fan… only difference between your version and my moms is, my mom coated the liver with flour. God bless, Gina! Always a pleasure to watch your videos ♥️
Mine too. Hate making it because of the flour, now I won't hesitate. We ate it once a month as kids, never had a problem with anemia (low iron). I'm sure the cast iron frying pans didn't hurt either.
Hi Gina.... I m watching from Argentina.... Thank You for sharing and cooking for us.. My father was from Adrano,Italy and he sang the same songs and cooked very similar. Watching your videos are something very special for me. Not only because You bring back memories ,I feel like I've known You all My life. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you Gina for the great instructions. I've been cooking liver and onion for many years but now I know the secrets for making it taste great: olive oil for frying, and pickled pepperoncini. I love watching your videos.
I always smile as I'm watching this amazing chef preparing wonderful meals. What a lady! And I always loved liver and onions. I think maybe she has a good butcher she buys from.
I'm really excited to try this! I bought some beef liver from my local farmer this summer, because I read about how high in iron and other vitamins it is, but didn't really know how to best cook it. Now I have found my perfect recipe! It looks so easy to cook and succulent to eat. Thank you Gina for the great guidance and wisdom. I love you!
Thank you so much for making your cooking videos, and your singing is beautiful! You teach me so much, I can't thank you enough. I'm not Italian, but my husband is part Italian and he loves Italian food. Whenever I make your recipes, he loves it! He especially loved this liver recipe!!
Liver and onions is sooooo deelish, I have cooked this a lot for myself and my family . I do it slightly different, I soak the liver in milk and remove all the membrane, then I dry it and dust with seasoned flour . I cook it exactly the same and it’s sooooo tasty, I think I can smell this cookin Gina. Thank you so much for reminding me of this dish. Yes, delicious and good for you❤️.
Dear Gina, I don't love liver so much, 😊 but I love you.👍 You are a wonderful woman. Everything you do, you do it with love. Your singing while cooking touches my heart. It reminds me a lot of my mom. Thank you so much for your great video. Best regards from Germany, Phil 🙋♀️
Gina! Thank You for this video. My husband has been asking me to make liver and onions for YEARS. I've never been brave enough but now I think could do it.
My grandma used to make this all the time, I forgot about it until I saw you making it, I love watching you cook and what a nice touch seeing your grandson sitting down and enjoying it, I ❤️ Your channel, thank you for making the cookbook I have it in my kitchen and it puts a smile on my face.
Less you Grandma Gina you remind me of all my Italian aunts who used to cook some awesome meals! And they were so crazy cutting up and laughing! I miss them so much every day! I really take comfort in watching you cook and singing You are a beautiful soul!❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏😉
Nonna Gina is a awesome person. I discovered and lived her channel. Nice recipes and a happy and familiar way to make Italian food, that I love. God bless her!!
When I was growing up, my mum would just fry the liver.. no onions, or bacon. We'd have it with a squeeze of lemon. All three of us kids loved it! All the other kids I knew HATED liver. I don't know what magic my mum did! Can't wait to make this. Thank you Gina! I just made your incredible focaccia for the 4th time last week!
I'm a native Italian and when I was 5/6 yo I had to eat this disgusting recipe. When I grew up, as an adult, now I'm nearly 50 yo, I don't eat this stuff anymore. I'm lucky.
Hi Grandma Gina, I love your channel, I love your dishes that you cook and I love the Italian cuisine. I also love your dialect and it is most beautiful when you sing ... so beautiful. Congratulations, I see you brought out a cookbook and of course, will you get it for me on Amazon? My husband Holger and I Regina my nickname is also Gina, by the way, we have been living here in the province of Manitoba in Canada for almost 15 years. Thank you for this great channel Bon-A-Petitti god bless and all the best for you Grandma Gina and stay healthy. greets, Gina
I made this tonight. My wife loved it. This used to be her birthday dinner as a child. I made it finally after 18 years or marriage. Thank you Mama Gina. 😘💕😘
