Mauro❤you must have been a Finn in your previous life😂!! Nothing else explains your love for Finnish language and music 😄 kiitos paljon jälleen kerran!!🤗
2:48 For some reason, people in other countries have not been nothing interested in Finnish songs. And the lack of English subtitles in RU-vid videos does not help increase popularity at all.
When i was little kid, topi visited our home... dont know what he did with my mother lol! Surujen kitara in its all melancholy is my favorite song from topi sorsakoski.
If you want to check "THE one and only" finnish rock and roll band, please check the following link. Some say, that Hurricanes was and still is THE only pure rock and roll band ever in Finland. I remember my early teen years listening to their music back in 70ies. It really KICKED A** in our neighbourhood and in Finland in general. This piece is probably their most famous song, played at the most famous rock club at Helsinki, the "Tavastia". The energy in this song is huge. There is a true story to this song. Hurriganes was recording their studio album at early 1970ies. All songs were ready and taped. Studio manager then told Remu, that there is 3 minutes room in the LP record for one more song to be recorded to LP. He also told Remu, that the band has only 20 minutes of studio time left for recording. The studio time was hugely expensive that time. So Remu "ordered" guitarist Albert Järvinen to start with some kind of solo with his guitar and he himself will handle the rest. So, it is a fact, that this masterpiece of rock was composed, lyrics made out of the hat of Remu (the singer-drummer) at the moment, when they started to play. Remu actually just shouted whatever english phrases, he remembered on the spot and lyrics really do not make any sense. The result, however, is peace of finnish rock history, a song, that is voted the best rock and roll song in Finland several votes in music magazines and such. I don't disagree. It is peace of art. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M1pPwnah_eM.html

Jaakko Teppo "Hilma ja Onni" will surely make an impression on many, and the lyrics is just so exact expressing many levels like longing, regret and misery.
Beautiful song,so romantic ❤, kaunis laulu "olet kaikkeni sä silloinkin vaikka maailman mä voittaisin mitä jää jos menet pois mitään ei minulla ois maailmassain kaikki oot sä vain.."❤
Ville Valo & Agents: Jykevää on rakkaus (Originally English "I only want to be with you"/Dusty Springfield) Finnish translation lyrics a bit different with more slang = nyt on styylattu kuukaus(i) (nyt/now we have dated for a month and home is hima comes from Helsinki slang etc.) But this is a song worth listening to 👍
Would be fun if you reacted to Taiska - Mombasa. It's a finnish version of an instrumental italian movietrack song called "Ibo lelè" but with lyrics. I couldn't find a video with english subs unfortunately. But I guess you are able to find them somewhere. It's a song every finnish person knows and mostly loves.
Listen to Helvetistä Itään by Kotiteollisuus, or Viimeinen mammutti by Hevisaurus. Both are a bit harder music but the latter one for example is a lullaby for kids in heavy metal style.
Kiitos, Mauro 🥰 I recommend you to react to either of these two from a Finnish policeman and tenor Petrus Chroderus The first one: Finlandia- Oulun poliisi onnittelee satavuotiasta Suomea The second: Rakasta elämää- uusi päivä koittaa vielä- Oulun poliisi They are the greetings or the Oulu Police authorities to the people of Finland. Finlandia was when Finland turned 100 years old on December 6th 2017.
