Alright, guys, many requested it in previous episodes. Italian Megafortress Defense is here. Absolutely insane megaproject to build and due to difficulties stated in the community post, it will be the last of its kind. You'll see more in the future but the scale will be more game-friendly for longer and better cinematics. Millions of cubic meters of concrete were put into this, to secure Italy's control over the region.
What's next? A bunch of fictional, historical, and realistic scenarios awaits us.

As far as I know concrete is cheaper than steel, and that the Italians simply lacked a large military industry. Nevertheless a more in depth defense would have made more sense than this huge fortress.
