You can't improve the service if everyone always just says that everything is fine. The purpose of negative feedback is to guide the service provider's operations.

Well, Finnish people usually try to avoid conflict. We feel that ranting doesn't usually do any good. But on the other hand, we also have a saying "Mikään ei muutu, ellei kukaan suutu" - which translates to "Things won't change, unless someone will rage"...

I don't know... I think usually Finnish people are way more straight forward than awerage BUT when it comes to complaining about, service, food or anything like this, things would have to be REALLY bad before we would actually open our mouths. Of course i am talking only generally and for myself.

Finns "vote" with feet, instead of complain. If they were not satisfied, They won't step into that restaurant ever again. And that restaurant never get proper feedback, and never evolve in customer service. They keep wondering why nobody eat there.

Im finnish and im pretty straight forward, BUT when people who work there are asking me how was the food im like mmmm it was ok (even tough i didnt like it) cause im overly courteous especially on restaurants, but if the place has low rating already im saying what is wrong on the food but in a nice way, like maybe you should try little more spice or my meat wasnt medium and i orderd medium steak but thats fine... ect. we finnish people are like that, but when we leave restaurant we really trash talk that place on our way out to car and next day to our friends xD

Me and my husband, we had pizza in restaurant, and it was terrible, no flavour, and and no filling but just fat on the top. Waiter asked "did you enjoy the food", and I wanted to say "it was no food." But I smiled and said: "Yes, thank you."

Jes we are like. (Or I am). Were In Lesvos island In Greese, ordered some lamb. Omg whole of the Meat was full of blood vessels Or vains🤢 did not eat most of it, but should complain, but no🤔
