She was born in Belgium but she spent most of her first 7 years in Catania with her mom and grandma before returning to Brussels. And italian is the first language she learned for this reason.

Merci pour cette réaction ! J'adore ta capacité à fournir une analyse technique et précise, l'arrêt sur des détails, c'est très intéressant ! Et puis j'ai découvert cette chanson il y a peu, quelle belle chanson sur la mélancolie d'un amour toujours vivant malgré la perte de l'être aimé... J'ai au moins une larme à chaque fois que je l'écoute ! Elle a en plus le mérite de me motiver à apprendre sérieusement l'italien 😄

Lara Fabian was very well trained by the best opera teachers from Belgium and Italy, but she decided to sing pop songs, she als has the knowledge to sing in operatic way, she studied from her 8 to 18 at the Belgium Conservatory of Music (there she learned Bel Canto, piano [she composes her own songs on piano)... Then since 1998 she kept having vocal lessons with her Italian teacher untill nowdays, she has two vocal teachers (From Belgium and Italy) and she keeps having vocal lessons at least 3 times per week on-line. Lara also workz as a vocal coach on The Voice Canada, she already worked as the vocal coach at the Star Academy program in France from 2004 /2008. Here another Italian she LOVES to sing, one of her idols is the Italian singer Mina. ❤❤ Her mother used to sing Mina's song to her. Lara : Papà belga, mamma siciliana. Il suo nome è Lara Crockaert. Papà chitarrista (della cantante Petula Clark), ha fatto fare studi di musica classica a Lara quando si è accorto che aveva una voce speciale...Il resto è storia.

PS : Tutte le canzoni di Lara meritano una reaction...io ho un debole per la canzone "You'r not from here", che non è certo la più spettacolare, come Je t'aime, Adagio, Je suis malade, Caruso ecc...ma su 267 canzoni, hai materia a scegliere 😉

È pazzesca tra le mie cantautrici preferite in assoluto forse la migliore. È meravigliosa con la sua tecnica e la sua empatia in ogni canzone mette testa cuore anima e un immenso talento

E se vuoi divertirti a vedere la sua immensa tecnica... L apertura della bocca e le varie forme che lei da per trovare la perfetta risonanza.. Ti consiglio vivamente la sua cover di papa can you hear me DI Barbra Streisand dal film yentl.. Scegli la versione del 1997 Montreal.. Vedrai il libro aperto della tecnica di canto e l' interpretazione che per 8 minuti ti lascerà stupito

Bellissima reaction! Io ascolto principalmente metal ma Lara mi mette i brividi, mi fa veramente piangere, perché sembra che lei abbia vissuto quello che canta! Penso che quello che fa cantando sia voluto per enfatizzare il testo! Grazie di questa, come sempre, lucida e impeccabile analisi vocale. Mi sono abbonato. Ero io ad aver menzionato i suoi 10 anni al conservatorio di Bruxelles in canto lirico. Penso che una tale disciplina classica spieghi la sua padronanza e del respiro e delle posizioni della bocca per creare i suoni che vuole ottenere. Per me, una delle sue piú straordinarie canzoni, di cui è compositrice, è “You’re not from here”, e sarei interessato ad un’analisi di questa canzone. Versione stupenda, voce strepitosa, ma l'emozione di Massimo Ranieri, secondo me manca. Lara e' bravissima nel delivery, non c'e' dubbio. Le sue canzone coperte da Dimash sono tra le migliori che quest'ultimo canta.

Why? Why do you keep saying "he" or "him". Lara Fabian is a woman. Please do something with your subtitles. In your subtitles she is referred to as "he" or "her" It makes your commentary almost unbearable.

I think is a problem with the automatic translation. I check all subtitles in my language but I can't check all the translations, it would cost too much time. I'll try to fix in the next videos. Anyway, thanks for reporting it.

He uses the pronoun LEI, a kind of pronoun that does not exist in English and the automatic translator, a machine, does not know who it is addressed to and how to translate it. LEI is the third person singular, used for politeness (equivalent to ""vouvoiement"" in French).
