I'm an italian living abroad (UK) and i can only confirm all that, Joe Avati is great and is humor is just a true, sincere and honest portray of the average italian-whatever foreign country citizen. I hope one day Joe'll come to Italy performing in shows like Zelig or somenthing, he deserves it. Bravo Joe. thank you MZLEXN7. i`m sicilian and half neapolitan and i like calabria actually all of south italy because that la vera italia!! we are al brothers of the south why so hatefull against sicily? we share the same language and dialects lingua siciliana and calabro-siciliano. its beautiful we need to be like frati, picchi nui semu r`u sud.

At my Aunt Paulas wedding! It was time to do the speeches at a bunch of telegrams came in from italy! My dad and my uncles though because the telegrams were a really boring part of the wedding, they decided to spice it up! So my uncle Fab was going to translate the Italian. Someone would read the telegram bit by bit and the translation went like this: "When you were a ittle girl - WHENA YOU WEREA LITTLEA GIRL!!!! ---meh funny italian story

It's so true...I'm only half from the south and my other half speaks a dialect that is much closer to proper Italian. I actually have some trouble understanding these silly Italian videos on RU-vid because they always use the Calabrese dialect.

@MZLEXN7 no it wont been there got cousins in calabria they hate it they wish they were from sicily like my parents and i. we went to calabria many times so boring in those parts they all suck at soccer. but in sicily we have all the people come out and play and its so fun and our beach is so much better and our girls to.

northern italy is poor! have u ever been to italy? i was born there and i know it like the back of my hand Carini Torino and Roma r the only places worth visiting. Especially Monterosso beach. you know nothing about italy there is a different dialect in different towns. people in philly sound different from people in Main am i right? its the same thing. next time before you talk do your research.
