He is very charming. He's just the sort of person that one would really like to see traveling around. (Mean people should stay at home, don't you all think so?) He's also quite generous with his ideas on language learning. Thanks, Richard!

It is true, when you already speak a foreign language and decided to learn a new one, it would be easy for you if you learn similar from the one you already knew. When I moved to Paris and started learning the language, it was very easy for me because I already speaking Italian which is quite similar to French.

im italian and can confirm. its truly remarkable. it sounds like a trained ai coming from year 2050. you can hear just a tinyyyy use of words that are correct but not used very often like 'dominare una lingua' which is by no means wrong, just unusual.

I really got me surprised by understanding quite a lot of the first three languages spoken in this video: English, French and Italian. Of course, I am Brazilian therefore the similarities between my native language and the romance languages give me quite a help, but without a doubt, my listening skills are getting improved after some time studying these other languages. Currently, I'm also studying German which is a very difficult language for me, but I won't quit before learning and my only goal is to take as many languages learned as I can take (Dark feelings). Ah, and English I think I could say I'm almost fluent, just need a real life challenge like living abroad or perhaps like teaching people that wanna learn both English and Portuguese by using iTalki...
