@@Italo4ever150 Actually, the bassline is boring! To be honest, most of the New Generation Italo Disco isn’t Italo Disco. It follows too much Modern Talking’s bassline making more a Euro Disco than Italo Disco. Remember Modern Talking is NOT Italo Disco. Should have exploit other basslines to match Italo Disco. In fact, most Italo Disco doesn’t have this chicken swings back and forth bassline like this track, they mostly followed “Magic Fly - Space” bassline to make it sounds more galactic. Oh well, another person just followed ZYX Record (a German label) which basically butchered Italo Disco! ZYX incorporated their German Disco (Euro Disco) and made fools think Euro Disco is Italo Disco. 😢 Only the intro bassline seems to be adequate…

@@verumverba5711 Thank you for your message. I understand your point of view even if I don't agree with you. You know, music is perceived differently by different people. It's true euro disco is more linear in the bass but it's still a musical style very similar to italo disco. The new generation italo disco allows to discover new artists. I find that there are very good new titles. I try to keep the 80's spirit in my music, it's true that sometimes I add a bit of modernity in the voices but we have also changed eras. You can still listen to the old productions. Best regards

@@Italo4ever150 Thanks for the kindness reply 😊 While music is a taste that perceived differently from different people in general, but the style cannot be perceived differently. You can tell Rap from Rock, this holds the same truth with Euro Disco and Italo Disco. Euro Disco is similar to Italo Disco because it’s a electronic disco, but that’s about it… The rhythms of both are totally different, not to mention the style of singing, percussion and bass. Unlike Euro Disco, Italo Disco tracks weren’t popular by the mass. ZYX Record, however, had worsen it worse by inserting Euro Disco and sold to the public making people think that Euro Disco is Italo Disco, especially to the people in East Europe. The fun fact is in the 80’s, if you go to the nightclub, you would hear Italo Disco but not so much of Euro Disco. This is because Italo Disco delivered a punch on the dance floor; whereas, Euro Disco was sold as commercial use. That’s why music connaisseurs labeled the 2 styles in separately. As a DJ in the 80’s, I was very hesitated to spin Euro Disco for my crowds because I know they would NOT dance to it. In fact, Italo Disco helped spawn House music, not Euro Disco, that should tell you something. No ones disputed the needs of new artists to produce Italo Disco, and as a fan to the genre I would highly encourage and support such movement. And the modern vocalist and sounds are perfectly alright to add on, since Italo Disco has many different vocal styles, but the core of the style stays the same. As Fred Ventura put it, Italo Disco is like Synthpop but more hardcore. But if a music doesn’t sound like that particular music style than people have the right to voice it, in hoping that the artists would take note. Lastly, people should rename “New Generation Italo Disco” to “New Generation Euro Disco”.

@@verumverba5711 when you defend your opinion, you argue a lot ! :-) And it's a good thing ;-) I think ZYX is a very good label ! You can't say they are destroying italo disco. Lot's of Italo Disco artists are still working with them and that's a good thing. I agree with you when you say that euro disco is very present in eastern countries. Some productions are in my opinion bad qulity. You know, musical genres change with time.... 80's rap is not the same as 2020's rap. It's the same with italo disco. I know we won't be able to agree, but I enjoyed our discussion. Thanks !
