Before immersing ourselves in a tantalizing wine-tasting experience, we meander through a captivating museum, unlocking the secrets of winemaking woven into the fabric of history.
Here, wood and wine engage in a delicate dance, blending like nature's perfect duo. This enchanting interaction matures over months, giving rise to a symphony of complex chemical, physical, and biological reactions. Aging gracefully in barrels, the wine absorbs a tapestry of balanced flavors. The essence of the wood, the finesse of storage, and the precision of pressing emerge as pivotal elements in the art of barrel selection. The smaller the barrel, the more intimate the wood-to-wine embrace, bestowing upon the wine a plethora of distinctive characteristics. We're continuing our journey amidst breathtaking landscapes. Our second stop is the enchanting Ca’ dei Frati, dating back to 1782. Its unique building in the midst of vineyards and its exceptional flavors left us in awe. It's definitely a place we highly recommend.
