You're a great Dad who has an eye for capturing the best moments and educating your family and viewers along the way! And your children are so well-behaved! Your daughter was so funny about the whole locked-in-the-restroom incident. We retired in July 2021, moved from the San Francisco Bay Area in December 2022, and have lived here for a little over a year now. Not ONE VISIT from any family or friend. What a beautiful, heartwarming trip! I came across your video by chance and it really touched my heart! I hope to visit Padova one day, my Italian great great grandparents immigrated from that region to Brazil in the 1880's and I have with me a small coin with St Anthony's image that belonged to one of them. Which one of the 206 tours was this one? My husband and I are looking at them for a trip later this year to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We wondered how much free time you had and were the tours of the forum and the coliseum were part of it.
They have multiple tours through Italy or you can include Italy as part of other tours. I'm not sure exactly which number it was. We typically had 3 to 6 hours of free time in each city. The Coliseum was supposed to be included but it got canceled (I think because we had just over 30 people in our group at that point in the trip). They scheduled a walking tour of Rome that morning instead but we skipped it and did our own thing at the Pantheon, Forums, and Coliseum. We hired a different tour guide for the Forums and Coliseum so we could get in and out in a timely manner.

Casanova was imprisoned at the Doge's prison in Venice AND was the only one thar ever escaped! He did so with the help of a priest friend who managed to cut a hole in the roof and hlped enable Casanova to climb out and successfully make his escape! Nice job on video! Covered all places i have been out of interest not intending it to be a Pilgrimage....but, in retospect, it appears it was!
