In this episode I am racing stage 3 and 4 of the BAJA RALLY and stage 4 was very tough for me. Multiple crashes and a bad injury made this a fight I will never forget.

There are 1.5 million people who witnessed and respect the "metal" of Noraly. It's a true testament of courage and enduring pain to continue. This is different than her touring past, but a true test of being a moto adventurer in the most difficult terrain. Noraly has made friendships for life and, of course, Charly's presence to watch over her. Brava Noraly!

Thanks for looking out for her, it is so great to see the companionship between riders also in a race like this! I think ADV and dual sport riders just are a bit more aware of the dangers involved than anyone that only rides on tarmac. No offense to those, of course, but I think we have a little different mindset, because someone could actually die out there, if we did not stop to help.

I've been riding for about 50 years I've had over 25 bikes. I've probably done about 10 desert races. I've seen you ride all around the world from your videos. You are hands-down one of the best there is. No one can take that from you and you know that. Of all the places I've crashed silty Rocky hills are almost the worst but the ruts on corners when the ground is semi-hard packed with loose rocks just to be out there is incredible so you are indeed incredible I think it is so wonderful the way that you do your videos and ride at the same time. What a way to live your life congrats that's very cool.

For those who have never ridden any type of desert riding, rally or enduro, it’s so hard to explain how brutally hard this is. Once fatigue sets in, mistakes become frequent and crashes are the norm and so damn painful. Picking up your bike when you’re exhausted just makes you even more tired. All these riders have so much grit to fight through the pain and exhaustion. They’re all such badasses! So impressive! Heal fast Noraly! We're rooting for you!!!! ❤

Until you have actually raced this type of off roading you will never understand how physically taxing it is. When you are also injured it really takes all of your will to carry on. The mental fatigue can be as exhausting as the physical stress. I know because I have raced off road in the past. Noraly you are a beast.
@YoutubeSupportServices
@YoutubeSupportServices Год назад
The "FUNNY" part to me is;... The ride, The terrain, and the combined-totality of everything including the Distance, AT LEAST "TO ME", is no more "taxing" than a walk-in-the-park!...HOWEVER, ... After I climb inside of all the DAM; PERPETUAL-SWEAT-GENERATING, OXYGEN-RESTRICTIVE, MOVEMENT-RESISTANT, HEAT-PROPAGATING, REGRET-INCUBATING, LIFE-SUCKING, ENCAPSULATION OF "LIGHT-WEIGHT" RIDING-GEAR... It turns the beauty of a "walk-in-the-park" into something that's remotely equivalent to experiencing the "beauty and thrill of the 'Empire State Building's' observatory on the 86th-floor.... WITHOUT USING AN ELEVATOR!...

The mental aspect is a very good point. What people "see" is the physical demand and even then, most who watch can not understand how brutal hours of off road rallying or enduro racing is. But then there is the mental aspect, which is very difficult for most to understand because we can't "see" it. I think viewers can relate that its tough but they just don't know how incredibly tough and there are a very few men out there who can compete in such an event let alone women. Noraly is an incredible person inside and out. We love you.

Its equally annoying to read comments like yours, underestimating the true dangers of motorcycling, off road or on. This is a classic example of a rider getting a "little ahead of herself", after successfully touring the world. This notion of crashing being part of it is dangerous in attitude and reality. Crashes should be avoid at all costs, so should renting ill prepared motorcycles, and a machine that is too tall for her body height, etc. An injury was inevitable. If you read my earlier posts you will see that this was predicted prior to the race. Your annoyance is only a reflection of your own inability to comprehend the true point of comments like this, that they are warnings. Did you ever hear of a man named Charlie, from "long way round" fame. He figured he was ready to race, bought a rally bike, and crashed breaking both his wrists. Not something anybody should "learn from". Get a grip people, literally, and stop crashing and laughing it off, its just luck usually that keeps people from serious injury. Her luck ran out in this race.... torn leg muscles in the largest muscle of the body body, one you depend on walking with....come on, come on...Really? Racing doesn't make you a more skillful rider. Leave those comments to racers.......practice make you a skillful rider. Racing and crashing, makes you a cripple, and the pressure and fatigue associated with racing is extremely dangerous. Reserved for pure athletes, not week end warriors. Hopefully she learns from this crash, and the crash that nearly broke her ankle. She readily admitted that she is not good at steep rocky uphills. That is very difficult terrain, and injuries from those types of hard crashes will leave most people unable to walk.....

Notably, I have been watching all your movies and I was already so deeply impressed by your courage. But what you delivered here, I have no words for it. Just Insane, unbelievable. You keep on laughing although you almost can’t resist pain anymore. And that was not enough, you step on your bike again to drive home. You are the toughest women I have ever seen in my life! Chapeau! You show us, where there is a will, there is a way. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wow! Where others may have given up you show tremendous courage and grit to push on through to get to the end of the stage. Big props to Pancho for being the selfless person he was to stay there with you. Charly deserves credit too also loved meeting him earlier on in the series.

You REALLY PUSHED IT, GIRL ! I’m a little unfamiliar with this much pain and you’re having all this fun. It’s distressing to see you hurting so now. You seem to be finding new limits for yourself, I’m surprised you got back on a bike so quickly, PLEASE STAY SAFE, NORALY ❤❤❤ Rick

Having raced (500, 550) and chased in the Baja it is deceiving how rough it really is. Sections that are bad you think, "it's not that bad", will swallow up tires and twist parts. it always seems to happen when you drop speed is when you get stuck. We used to have a sticker on the front bar that read "when in doubt punch it", a slap on the sticker was a good reminder not to be too cautious.

It's heartbreaking for me to watch your hurt, that last ugly hill I felt there's emotion, pain and your gathering all the courage that you still have to conquer the road. Suffering produces Endurance and Endurance produces Character and Character produces Hope. Thank you for being our inspiration and motivation Noraly! Proud of you!💪👏

@@ItchyBoots Same, I'm up here in the frozen north, vicariously watching and cheering for you in the rally. I'd already watched this vid and given it a Big Thumb's Up when I saw the Insta story and it broke my heart for you. Of course you belong where you are, doing what you love with all those amazing people! And besides, like you said before, you wanted to do the rally so you could ride harder and not worry so much about injuries because there's support crew and other riders, and you're doing it! Finding limits, pushing yourself. That's the whole point of endurance racing! What I think is funny is that in the Africa rally the back of your motorcycle fell off, and this time the front did!

Don't ever let the negativity from those trolls and haters get to you. Rock on and enjoy the ride! 💪 I've ridden extensively through Vietnam for a decade and your videos bring back so many memories filled with awe. Driving through the mist on a mountain at sunrise, dodging cows, dogs, buffalos, and chickens that appear out of nowhere, sliding through the mud on trails that are barely even walkable... I am reliving all this excitement through your videos until I am back on the road myself. Thank you ❤
